It was a good time had by all. The Cubbies backed themselves into a save situation, but pulled it out and will bench all the guys who hit homers the next two days.

And Kudos to Don Tiny, with a name like that you know he's got to be good. I must say he is the most kind hearted and soft spoken gentleman on this planet or any other. It was like a harp was playing in the background everytime he spoke. All his game strategy and card play was like the sound of Angels wings fluttering. It was quite the contrast to Free Ajent's bigotry and anti-Semitism, now mind you, I just road tripped down all of I-65 en route to Tampa, FL. Get a map. But this cat FA, when he went on about how in 2000 years there will be more people worshiping Hitler than Jesus, I was only suprised by how enlightening and informative his take it the subject was.

For the record two of three guys wearing jerseys cashed. Good to meet new faces and maybe next time I'll be bringing something else besides beer.

You realize I called you 'Tarantino' in a complimentary fashion, right? :D A slight resemblance to my fading eyes, and one who is rife with well-spun tales of odd travels and odd fellows in your company, the latter of which generally seem to have a penchant for chemically altering themselves via means other than drink - perhaps not unlike a post-modern take on 'The Canterbury Tales'.

Good times. Glad to see spanky, donspiracy & Don Tiny again. Nice to meet Chris in Joliet, Matches Malone, crosscheck, & Don Tiny's brother. Free Ajent was also there...

Once again a big thanks to Chris for his hospitality. As usual, there were plenty of laughs and an honest to god Krazy Ivan sighting. I feel like someone who has chased Big Foot or Nessie, no one will ever believe I saw him. Also, I was referred to as Bald Bull, which both makes me happy and sad. (Had anyone said, "Hey it's an extra from Training Day." I wouldn't have thought anything of it.) I mean I always thought I was a halfway decent looking guy, but then again, Bald Bull was a bad ass so I guess it's okay.

And until the next time we get together, "Good journey, and Vaya Con Dios brothers. Vaya Con Dios."

I didn't think being in a room with that many hockey fans would adversely affect me, but I guess I was wrong.

I'm gonna do my best to make it out more often after I was told "see ya next year" by both Dons, Tiny & 'Spiracy. Matches was happy to find out I wasn't a mult.

Thanks again, Chris. Tell your wife that butter cake stuff was ridiculously good...

I logged in and said maybe 3 things.A few of my guys came by to watch the game so really didn't get a chance to participate and i'm sure that was a good thing.
