Schedules always look tough or easy until the season starts.

Every day it's either light or dark.

Yeah, I thought that was a strange comment too at first, but I think he just means that the first look at the schedule don't tell you shit really.

They'll make it if the Vikings and Packers both suffer plane crashes.

Trade for Albert Haynesworth.

 Stastistically their d over performed last year and did better than I thought. I'm not sure they can repeat that. I think their schedule is tougher too.

Thier oline is still questionable but thier offense should be good again. I'm still waiting for that shoe to drop with Rodgers.

Can anyone seriously predict how tough a schedule is until the games are played? This drives me crazy every year to hear people talking about how easy or tough a schedule is. In the NFL so many things change from year to year. By the time the season is over many teams that experts thought would be great have bad or mediocre seasons and many teams that were supposed to suck have good to great seasons.

I was mocking Farvefan from last year. You are preaching to the choir here.

If there's one thing the Bears have shown over the last few years it's that they're unpredictable and inconsistent. Regardless of the difficulty of their schedule, they always seem to be in a position to win the game. The question is will they be able to finish teams off in the 4th quarter. I honestly don't know what to think of this Bears team, but Bears season is the best season and I go into every season and every individual game with optimism. Peppers is an upgrade, Cutler can't possibly be as bad as he was last year, and the receivers will be improved with another year and with Martz at the helm. 10-6 and the playoff berth will depend on the wild card.

Change the playing surface at Soldier Field, enabling Martz' offense to actually work... And trade for Albert Haynesworth.

Scorehead I think you are right on this one as of today and 6 is generous. The more I look at the schedule it could be less, I think they have 3 wins in the 2 vs the Lions, but an improving Lions and against the Bills, the Bills could be the worst team in the league this year, so we will see. It's still June, but I think once Thursday hits, then you really start to get the football bug, because training camp starts that month, maybe after July 4th.

The more I read this blog I think It's called? The more I'm realizing Hova's a pretty reasonable guy. It is impossible to predict an NFL season. But I will try to make a case for the Bears making the Playoffs. Improved Offense, obviously. Mike Martz is God telling the Jews they don't have to walk the desert anymore. Can you find more incompetent OC's than Shoop and Turner? That'll be a no. Lovie's D has been effective in the past. Leading the NFL in turnovers for what? 6+ years is pretty straight. An improved offense should help the matter as well as Cutler will not expect a damn thing from his line or recievers. That's good because he knows' it's on him. And he EXPECTS IT. AND HE HAS THE TALENT TO DEAL WITH IT. Cutler was still young as far as QB's go and he had NO help.
