I'm getting bored with the usual suspects. We need to interview fresh people. We need new story lines. We need to uncover more truths and expose more media agendas. We've done a lot but there is so much more to do.

This is an open invitation for new ones to join. Spread the word. I'm ordering all of you to recruit new Chicago media people.

From me to Chicago media on behalf of CSFMB...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK2YbfWfxBs&feature=related[/

I hear Jim O'Donnell needs something to do. I'm sure he will get the same respect we give a certin ambulance chaser that likes to give out orange hats.

Except the usual suspects don't even post here anymore, except for the occasional Mac or Goff post.

Out of all of the posters here that are annoying the hatred directed at beardown puzzles me. Are some of his bits out there and his race bating tiresome well sure......but for the most part he is harmless and actually gets to the bottom of quite a bit going on in the media world. And I am with him the usual media suspects have been lacking lately. Beardown get Mike Murphy on the board to talk about his lawsuit and talk shit about Bores.

He throws alot against the wall but a surprising amount of it sticks. He seems to figure out the various feuds and agendas at the Score better than most. While I can see how he isn't everyones cup of tea I think a big part of the reason that people dislike him is that Goff and Abbatacola seem to respond to him and mention him and I feel that it makes some posters here jealous and then they act out. To clairfy further I do not think that is the reason for everyone that dislikes him as I am sure that alot of people do not like the race baiting and the youtube spamming but honestly Beardown is just alright with me.

Again, what exactly has he gotten to the bottom of? You just talked around the question instead of answering.

Beardown is nothing but full of BS. He has not gotten to the bottom of anything.

Fair enough. I do not have the desire to search back and bring up examples. You win. He sucks! Rarrr!

My enthusiasm for this mult is tempered by the fact that the owner can't spell Chuck E. correctly....but I still have high hopes

I disagree. A Rob Goldman mult is long overdue.

I will just let the geniusness of the man speak for itself. From his wikipedia article....which as you may or may not know Laurence does not have one except for being a notable alumni of the WHFH Homewood Floosmor High School Radio Station....which of course proves unequivically that Murph>LoHo....but to further my point.....

The Mike Murphy Show aired on Sports Radio 670 The Score. Segments included:

What's Your Beef? sponsored by Brown's Chicken: Callers voiced what was "beefing" them in the world of sports. The best "beefs" deemed by Murph won gift certificates to Brown's.
Tool Of The Week sponsored by RentalMax: Callers voiced what figure in the world of sports who had, through their actions or words, proved to be the biggest tool in the past week. The figure with the most votes was deemed "tool of the week".
Stat Of The Week with John Dewan: Chicago sports statistician John Dewan, owner of Baseball Info Solutions, called Murph every Tuesday to give an insightful sports statistic.
Swami Murph: The swami and his caller guest swamis gave their humorous predictions, always prefaced with "I predict...."
Compressed Columns: Murphy reviewed sports columns of interest to him that appeared in that morning's newspapers, stating that he did so for those who did not have time to read them.
Murph Moment: a personal opinion segment.
Murph Minute: Murphy talked Cubs post-season baseball; also used as a promotional announcement during other programs.
Random Tapes: A segment when an old tape recording, somewhat relevant to a current sports event, was played.
The Fans' Court: "Judge Murphy" took calls from "jurors" on who was to blame for a sports debacle.
Sports Spurts: Originally, callers were required to recite a grammatically correct sentence on a sports topic, making various spitting sounds for the punctuation; however, when brought back after a 5-year hiatus, most of the rules about grammar and punctuation were abolished, the only requirement being one simple sentence.
The Mike Murphy Show's theme song is sung by Howard Berk.

In all seriousness though, why would any media person want to post here? I still remember when meatpants started posting again and this board gave him so much unnecessary shit, nothing productive, pretty much just people talking shit to him for the week or two that the posted. If I were a media person I would avoid this place like the plague....
