Tho aren't the Clips in the LeBron sweepstakes, would this knock them out of that? Oh, right, it's the Clippers, n'mind.
If they are smart they realize the chances of Lebron coming there are pretty slim, so if you can get Deng and have a lineup of Baron Davis, Eric Gordon, Deng, Blake Griffin, and Chris Kaman then you do it. If Griffin is able to stay healthy that lineup has the potential to be pretty strong. So I can see why the Clips would be interested in such a deal.
I agree with everything you said RFDC, except B.Griffin shattered his knee cap last summer. That's death to his game, which relied on maximum flexibility, and leaping ability from those knees. He was as close to a cant miss as you could find anywhere. Experts had him as the number one pick a month into the season 2 years ago. I know they still make millions, but I do feel bad for Griffin and Greg Oden. They were such legit prospects its hard to accept, as an NBA fan, that the league has def suffered due to their lack of development.
