Former Sox and Bulls announcer Lorn Brown has died. I'll let SHARK discuss Lorn in detail, but here's a nice interview:
http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/rwas ... ategory=11Actually, Lorn Brown was the voice of the White Sox on the TV side from 1976-79 when the Sox I believe were on WSNS 44, long before the defunct ON-TV scrambled WSNS' signal in the early '80s and the old SportsVision, and is now known as Telemundo. Lorn called the Sox on the defunct WMAQ
(now WSCR 670 The SCORE) Radio from 1983-88, and was behind the mike when the Sox won the American League West in dramatic fashion over the Seattle Mariners at old Comiskey Park. He passed away in Las Cruces, N.M. Thursday at age 71.
