But anyone else think a total disaster of a season in the first year under Ricketts wouldn't be such a bad thing instead of a middling season around 500?

If you don't make the playoffs why does it matter how many you win?

A complete disaster would make sure Ricketts really knows that huge changes need to be made. Some middling season around 500 might not be a wake up call.
