Good morning CSFMB, It’s Friday and it’s time to vote for some douchebags (gimmick). Last week, we had nominated our Top 4 nominees from the 2nd quarter to advance to the finals. Those “winners” are “Ben Rothelisberger Rapes Again”, “North Shore Jerkstore”, “Judge Thomas Gainer Jr.”, and “Chicago Baseball”. You’ll get another chance to vote for them in six months or so, when the Former Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich Douchebag of the Year award is handed out to its new champion!
This poll is to pick out the two nominees that will move on from weeks 27 and 28. Why are we voting for two weeks this week? Because. That’s why. Stop asking questions and just vote ok?
City of Chicago Parade Planners: good dolphin hates disruptions to her daily routine. Whether that be marathons on the weekend, or parades during the week, the closure of city streets and the mass of sweaty weirdos on the street is enough to make her faint. Of course, it’s not like we have championship parades frequently in this town. So should she just handle it or does the city go wrong in celebrating itself?
STEVE STONE!!!!: As I’m sure you could gather from the title of this thread, it comes from the twisted brain of our fearless leader, bigfan. This goes back to the self serving crap Stone had heaped onto Lou Pinella regarding Tyler Colvin, and Lou, being the dope he is bought into it and helped Stone make a name for himself. Stone loved cock, and he loves to talk shit about the Cubs. He’s not even a Cubs analyst, he just seems to like talking shit about the Cubs. Is he doucheworthy, or is he right?
Southland Christian School: What would a DBOTW poll be without a nomination from Ugueth Will Shiv You? He always beings the fire, the passion, and roofies and lube. Anyway, he nominated this “Christian” school for the dismissal of a teacher who had been determined to have evil sex before marriage. Christian schools have different contracts than public schools do, and their employment contracts might say something about “morality” but, is it douchebag worthy (if not excessively hypocritical) to fire a teacher over legal indiscretions when there’s clergy committing more egregious sins that just get moved around to protect them?
Mult Bros.: bigfan swings the mighty hammer of whining against the unnamed creators of multiple mults. Well, right about the time this nomination came out, mult league leader Kid Cairo was just setting up Kaner… sooooo. Anyway, Biggie has been warning us about mults for months now, going on random Mult Safari as the mood strikes. So the mult brothers, whomever they are, have earned a nomination. Have they earned your vote?
Donna Simpson: This nice lady is 42 and weighs 600 lbs. Her goal? To weigh 1000. She believes that curves are sexy. She pounds out $750 in groceries a week, and she’s probably going to have a grabber before she hits her goal. Anyway, NSJ didn’t explain the reason behind the nomination, so we’ll assume that she turned him down when he requested a date or something.
CSFMB: Well it’s not like it’s a secret. The board has been running slowly lately, giving plenty of errors and timeouts and file not founds, and this has led to a nomination from Darkside. While we do not expect 100% uptime, we have learned to live with the 13:00 slowdown, but it’s like it’s 13:00 around the clock lately and it’s been getting… weird. Is the CSFMB giving you timeout hives? Vote here!
State of Utah: Fixed Glee has nominated Utah for its execution by firing squad of convicted killer Ronnie Lee Gardner. Gardner himself chose this particular method of execution, so maybe the State isn’t exactly to blame for this. Then again, should we be killing people at all, regardless of the mechanism? Some say that the Death penalty is a deterrent. Some think it’s just revenge. Some say it saves money, and others say that it’s not something that a 21st century nation should do. Wesley Snipes taught is that freezing criminals doesn’t work, as they just wreak havoc upon reanimation. So, does the state of Utah get a confirmation for the execution by firing squad or do they do what they need to do?
