Pirates end 17 game road losing streak. If I would of known they had this coming into the series, I would have bet them heavy tonight. I think most of Dotel's saves are against the Cub.

Priceless. The first thread for any Chicago team series beginning today is after Dotel treats the Cubs like his bitches. God this hurts. No white sox thread either. Baseball is officially dead this year. CSFMB has spoken. Move both the Cubs section and the White Sox section to RIP until next January.

There are more threads and comments about an unstable pitcher and manager than the teams. When did we turn into some kind of Oprah board? :cry:

Lou says they will call up 2 more minor league pitchers tomorrow, one for Z and one for Grabow. Fucking bullpen is filled with rookies again.

It doesn't matter who pitches when you can't score any fucking runs. Christ, the Pirate ERA against the rest of baseball is something 6+ and against the Cub it's something like 2.5 ish.

Every fucking batter in the ninth was trying to hit the fucking ball out the ballpark on a night when a roided up Sammy couldn't have hit one out.

Only the Cubs would hire the highest priced hitting coach in the league and have none of the hitters want his advice.

Let him work with the kids and the few that are willing to listen. The hell with the rest of them as they are only here as long as they have to be. I don't think anyone in that organization honestly believes they are competitive. I just hope they can get some good prospects coming back for anyone and nearly everyone they can dump.

You know lou, you seem to switch the lineup all the time yet you have fucking ramirez and his currently .173 average still batting cleanup. The fact that this team is not producing runs should be a sign if his current skill level already isnt to maybe never put him above the 6th spot.

I don't think I properly defined exactly how I felt about the one line zinger thing. There were two reasons why the "zinger thread" came to be.

1. We had a ton of new people all posting as much as Nas in a two week period so instead of a couple of the regulars cracking me up, we'd have to read through like 20 straight one liners. Some enjoy it. Not my bag.

2. I thought 90% of them were not funny.

With that said, I'll always be the "One Line Zinger" guy. Gone are the days of other labels such as Harry's Designated Driver nemesis or the person who got ripped for thinking Silvy and Carmen was a good show (which is funny because over the past year there have been a handful of posts where people speak fondly of that show that hadn't once before).
