I think bringing Pippen would be a great move by the Bulls. Let's be honest he really owes this organization for a lot of things they have done to help him.

Why in Naismith's name would LeBron give a damn about what Pippen has to say about anything?

Says a lot about the loyalty of the organization. LeBron seems to be a guy that cares about that type of thing.

Maybe since they both quit on their teams they would have some common ground?

You want to talk loyalty ... invite Jay Williams then. They really took care of that kid.

I would still argue Scottie didn't quit. He wasn't going to be apart of the play so he didn't want to be a distraction. It all worked out but Phil was the ultimate asshole because he didn't draw up a play for a guy that finished 2nd in MVP voting that year. If I were Scottie I would have been pissed too. I spent all this time playing Robin to MJ and now I have to take a back seat in a playoff game when it is my turn to be Batman.

True but those 6 rings kind of help when Scottie talks. Of course that's if Scottie hasn't sold them to a pawn shop in Las Vegas.

That's a helluva lot better choice than Pippen. Jay was stupid and rode a crotch-rocket ... Pippen was stupid and pissed away $100 million ... it's a positive to help someone who made a mistake, but not necessarily someone who apparently has the life-IQ of a chicken.

According to the chick-dude or dude-chick gossip columnist in the Sun-Times, Pippen was "bawling" at the Daley center courthouse after the jury in his $8 mil lawsuit against his fmr mgr only awarded Pippen $2 mil.

And Dwyane Wade was also at the Daley Center Friday (the day of Pippen's tears), sorting out what he has to pay his baby mama.

Why does a lack of common sense so often accompany a great amount of basketball talent?

We should send about 20 of these to Lebron....

And there's a lot more where that came from.

Bulls trade Luol Deng and Taj Gibson and their 2 first round draft picks next season for Chris Bosh. That leaves the Bulls with about $25M to spend.

Well, Magic has his grocery stores and movie theaters and Starbuck's. And Dave Bing, current mayor of Detroit, previously successfully business-dude. Plenty of of other black NBA players have gone on to successful careers in biz, coaching, media.

Exception to the rule. Most of them come from inner city neighborhoods and never learn the value of a dollar. In their minds the money will last forever until it doesn't. It's easy to prey on guys like that.

It's a done deal. Expect the announcement sometime tomorrow.
