You know sports, have good opinions, and speak well but man you sound SOOOOO Monotone. Like youre bored or going thru the motions, so to speak.

There's just no joy in your voice. Do you ever laugh on your show?

Youve been consistently funny on B and B and you KILLED at the roast. You should work in some humor.

Just my opinion

Caught his show on Friday night. He read some very funny text messages or so my wife thought. Laughed out loud. And she usually PTFB when I tune to the SCORE.

I really notice that vs. late summer 2008, when he was a complete dick.

He is cool on the phones now, too. Doesn't make you want to hang up on him immediately like before. He actually is super polite and a pleasure to talk to now.

He sounds a LOT less condescending, but I guess seeing Goff flowin' like that can humble a man.

I am not worried about the monotone, however, it definitely doesn't help Drinky that Mike Esposito sounds just like him.

Drinky doesn't sound like Espo, Panther. He sounds more like Matt "The Dancing Fool" Rodewald...Anyway, one thing I've noticed whenever The SCORE gives Drinky an airshift is that he wants texters to put their names on their texts...

Thats true SHARK.

Its a losing battle. If its so important he should only read the signed ones.

Well, there are texters whose messages are simply not suitable for broadcast...

I kind of agree with the monotone part but also sounds to me like he doesn't really know what he's doing. I want to say it was Friday night I caught part of his show at the very beginning and he was almost stammering....like he gave the phone number out about 5 times, kept repeating the same points over and over before even taking a call. Just seemed like he had no direction

My advice to Drinky is to try to stop sucking...

No, Matty does not sound like Matt Rodewald or Espo. I have become a big fan of Drinky & was pleasantly surprised to hear him filling in for Les. Matt Rodewald should NEVER be allowed to host a show.

Maybe he ought to have his girlfriend call in to talk to him, maybe that will excite him. Doubt it though.

Eliminate "Grandma Trivia". It's not funny and has no value.

I just think the content of the Goff show vs the Drinky show is similiar.

Difference: Goff sounds like hes at a party or with friends.

Drinky sounds like he's addressing people at a funeral.

Joe, Drinky doesn't always have time to do "Grandma Trivia" and the same applies for Goff and "Man Time". If it were up to me, LoHo can get rid of the "Subliminal Song of the Night" and CBS2's Ryan Baker, complete with the "remix" of him coughing whenever Laurence's got a full 4-hour nighttime show.

Drinky hosted Monday afternoon and he sounded like he was coming off an all day bender from Sunday.
