He gets a couple more days of attention and he makes the Cavs happy.

Everything in life has always been easy for him and that is about to change one way or another. I believe he will choose the Cavs or Nets. Neither decision will be made with a title in mind.

Based on several people who have talked to LeBron in last 72 hours, he is giving impression he's undecided after last week's meetings.

I should have said since HS. Based on what I read about him as a kid he sounds like a guy that believed in Santa Claus until he was 12. By that time people were starting to hold his hand.

The city of Chicago wants LeBron James, the Bulls organization wants LeBron, but if it were up to Derrick Rose, he would have preferred to have Joe Johnson join the team, instead of James.

Brian Windhorst of The Plain Dealer wrote the following tweets on Monday:

"LeBron really likes Rose and Joakim Noah. But there's lack if shooters on roster. Also it doesn't sound like he's exactly being welcomed by Rose.

"Didn't say Rose was anti-LeBron. But the word is preference was Joe Johnson. They have same agent. That is what multiple people tell me."

Arn Tellem represents Rose and Johnson, who has agreed to re-sign with Atlanta.

Everything is set for Chris Bosh to join LeBron James in Cleveland. Everything, that is, except Bosh's approval.

The Toronto Raptors have told the Cleveland Cavaliers they will do a sign-and-trade with them for Bosh, according to several league sources.

The exact details of the potential trade have not been solidified, but Toronto likely would get Anderson Varejao and/or J.J. Hickson, Delonte West and perhaps Anthony Parker. A draft pick could be involved as well.

Both James and Bosh are aware that such a trade is possible, and James has tried to recruit Bosh to the Cavaliers several times in the past few weeks, according to sources.

But right now, Bosh remains cold to the idea of playing in Cleveland.

The Cavaliers are hopeful that will change, because in Cleveland, Bosh can meet two of his top priorities: playing with James, and getting a six-year, $125 million contract.

If Bosh joins a team without doing a sign-and-trade, he will be able to sign only a five-year deal worth $96 million. He is determined not to leave that $29 million on the table, according to sources.

Although Bosh wants to play with James, he wants to do it in Chicago, Miami or New Jersey. Sources say he has told the Raptors those are the teams he would like to go to in a sign-and-trade.

Bosh also could play with Dwyane Wade instead of James in those cities.

Toronto, however, will not cooperate in a sign-and-trade with Miami, which has no players in whom the Raptors are interested, according to sources.

To move Bosh to Chicago, the Raptors likely would ask for Joakim Noah, though they could perhaps be persuaded to take a package that does not include him.

The Nets would seem to be able to put together an enticing package for the Raptors that included rookie lottery pick Derrick Favors.

If the Raptors are dumb enough to trade Bosh to the Cavs for that then I could understand why LeBron would want to come back. In some ways I hope Bosh does go to Cleveland with him because that means the Bulls will get Wade and Boozer because Wade won't got back to Miami with that roster. Of course with the news that Utah still wants Boozer it is possible the Bulls could end up without even Ron Mercer if Wade and Bosh go to Miami and LeBron goes back to the Cavs or Miami. It would be time to sell the team at that point.

I would only trade Noah for Bosh if it brings along Lebron or Wade afterwards. Swapping Noah for Bosh and not adding anything else does not really make this team much better and it adds a ton to the payroll. Obviously the team would be improved, but I don't think they would contend in the east if only Bosh is added, and you subtract Noah.

This may sound crazy after all of my Noah hate when he was drafted but I honestly don't believe trading Noah for Bosh makes the Bulls that much better. You won't be able to get back the intangibles that Noah has and you lose a better rebounder and defender. Bosh has already said he doesn't want to play center and that he would like to have good center playing with him.

The new cap number comes out on Thursday. If it is higher than projected by only a few hundred thousand than the Bulls would be able to sign 2 full boat guys by only trading Gibson and Johnson.

I'm starting to get the feeling the Bulls could end up with no one. Not even David Lee or Bosh. That would be a great fall considering all the rumors. I wouldn't fault the Bulls either if this happened.

They went for the HOME RUN - absolutely the right thing to do. Unfortunately, they seemed to have put a lot of faith in Worldwide Wes and it certainly seems that Maverick Carter removed him from influence.

I think they'll wind up with Boozer and some spare parts - and they'll be a better team, but not a title contender.

There was really nothing else to do. They didn't miss out on anyone. Only a desperate fool pays Amare and Joe Johnson $100M.

Losing Kirk for nothing might hurt a little but that is really the only damage.

If you don't get Lebron or Wade then it doesn't matter. Either Lee or Boozer and the Bulls are competing for the final 4 playoff spots in the East depending on how Rose develops.

Completely agree. I've been saying the same thing the past year. Lee is a better rebounder and has proven he can score. You can depend on him too. He is also likely going to be cheaper.

He plays little to no defense, which would not fly well with Thibodeau.

Boozer isn't a lock down defender himself. I believe Lee would be willing to give it a try. He's 2 years young too.

You have to remember Lee played on a Knicks team that didn't care about defense.

I think if it's Rose, Deng and Noah ... then Lee might be the best choice for his ability to spot up shoot and pull a big defender away from the lane. This team will rely on DRose's ability to penetrate and kick and without a dead-eye SG, you need someone to knock down the long range jumper.

I think if it's Rose, Deng, Noah and Wade ... Boozer's inside post game might be more effective.

I think if it's Rose, Deng, Noah and LBJ .... either one is fine, but Lee might actually be better for the reason above.

He will likely cost less too. Also if the Bulls miss out on LeBron and Wade I believe Mike Miller or Ray Allen if they offer him enough.

its funny how fast things change. the roundtable of espn "experts" now have lebron and wade both staying put with their teams. at this point the bulls might need to focus on a big man and a shooter. and does that mean they might have just dumped hinrich for no reason?

WGN's David Kaplan is (re)reporting that the Bulls have a trade for Deng to Portland. Same as what was rumored before: Deng for Bayless and Przybilla.

Not sure it the trade is contingent upon getting a FA commitment.

If not, that's a DAMN bold move.

I always thought this was based on the Bulls getting Wade and LeBron. Maybe this is also based on the Bulls trading Noah. I really don't get this because they would then have a hole at SF unless depending on who they sign. There is no scenario where the Bulls could get all 3 unless Rose is traded.

This thing has turned into a f'ing goat rodeo - who knows who is going where and for what anymore.

This deal doesn't make sense unless LBJ is coming over .... then I assume this move gives you the ability to trade Noah for S&T Bosh.

Rose
Bayless? (yikes)
LBJ
Bosh
Przybilla
