James Johnson would likely play SG if the Bulls don't sign someone else. The Bulls would save about $1.7M this year by making that Portland deal and both of those guys have expiring contracts (if Bulls don't pick up Bayless option). They wouldn't have to pay Noah by making the deal with the Raptors and they would only have to send a $10.2M trade exception to the Raptors leaving them a total of about $5M left to spend this year after making both deals. These deals would put the Bulls in position to be players at the deadline or next offseason. I wouldn't be thrilled by it but I could accept it.

I agree. Is that enough to get Ray Allen here? That's basically what he will get with the mid level exception. The Bulls could offer more years to sweeten the pot.

Noah+Deng+2 1st Round Picks for Turk and Bosh? Wouldn't that work out for both teams?

And sell sponsorships with proceeds to the Boys and Girls Club. If true, that's a nice philanthropic move if not overly self-aggrandizing.

That's stupid. I'm not surprised though. He has taken attention whoring to a HoF level. He needs a prime time slot to tell the world what he will do. He is by far the greatest attention whore off all time. In some ways I will be happy he isn't bringing his antics to Chicago. It would be hard to root against a guy that plays for a team that I want to win. Now I won't have that problem.

Not sure it the trade is contingent upon getting a FA commitment.

If not, that's a DAMN bold move.

I always thought this was based on the Bulls getting Wade and LeBron. Maybe this is also based on the Bulls trading Noah. I really don't get this because they would then have a hole at SF unless depending on who they sign. There is no scenario where the Bulls could get all 3 unless Rose is traded.

Getting Deng's money off the books works for me. Knowing Deng, he'll get hurt and the trade won't happen. This has to mean they're getting someone good.

I don't like giving more years to Allen. They'll regret that move down the road.

Be careful giving years to Allen. 2 tops for me.

A shooter can always shoot. Giving Ray an extra $5M probably won't hurt much. That's usually easy to trade.

I can't see him leaving the Celtics. You'd have to cough up alot more years & cash to pry him away which I would not be inclined to do.

The max deal he can sign is a 4 year deal at his age. That would be 4 years and $20M.

Will Wade or Bosh decide before Thursday night or will they wait for Lebrons decision?

Maybe. I think we'll know well before 8pm. If not President Obama needs to hire them because they know how to keep a secret.

LBJ stays in Cleveland. They better push hard to get Bosh via a sign and trade as I don't see Wade coming here unless there is truth to Deng going bye bye thus getting cap space for 2 MAX guys, i.e. Wade & Bosh.

Toronto's GM has said over and over that he has zero interest in Luol Deng and his f'd up contract.

But he is willing to take on the terrible contract of a lesser player Anderson Varejao? Any deal they would make with the Cavs would be awful for them. I really hope they do though. I would love for him to play with Bosh in Cleveland.

Deng doesn't have to leave for the Bulls to sign 2 max guys. If the Bulls are signing one by trade all they have to do is make that deal after the first player signs and they will be fine. I don't want Bosh or LeBron. I want them to go to Cleveland. Bosh will be hurt and LeBron will disappear.

Unless they all go to Miami (which would make me sick) I don't get the conference call.

LeBron: Flash, let me get Bosh?
Wade: Naw, dude
LeBron: Let me have Maverick then?
Bosh: I just want the money so I can average 60 games a year.
LeBron: I love Akron cartoons and shinny objects

1 shit series doesn't equate to disappearing. The man, although an egomaniac with the full posse, etc. is still an incredibly skilled athlete. He's not a Jordan or maybe not even a Kobe, but he is damn good.

("Shiny objects" ) I can't wait until LBJ signs with the Bulls and NAS immediately takes all of this smack back.

Nas, i agree. I'm tired of James already at this point. Don't get me wrong i would take him on the Bulls. But the biggest issue i have with him most likely not coming is breaking the news to my 12 year old. That's about it.

Good day sir, (Lebron)...i SAID good DAY sir
