If they lose out on Boozer and Korver, then Paxson and Gar need to go.

All it says is they couldn't pull off a trade for Bosh. Since Bosh will make $498k more this season by signing with the Heat it was the next best move. Now we will find out if LeBron will team up with them. I believe all of this was done for their documentary.

Without knowing where LBJ wants to go yet, I really can't judge the job GARPAX has done in recruiting him. With that being said, however, I am not confident that the Bulls have enough to offer at this time to lure LBJ away from Cleveland.

Why is Korver involved in this? Who cares if they don't get him? I would prefer Ray Ray infinitely more, and even Reddick due to contract size over Korver.

And landing Lee instead of Boozer isn't as bad as it sounds. I don't think the Bulls are in the ship just getting 2 guys like this, so it makes sense to go for the younger David Lee.

I find it extremely hard to believe that no one wanted to come here. We have the best young core in place...we had the cap room...and now we're lucky just to get one free agent (David Lee or Carlos Boozer) out of all that were available to us?

Wade wanted to stay in Miami all along. He was just using the Bulls as leverage. Thanks to the Larry Bird rule and no state income tax Wade wasn't going anywhere. Wade is a proven commodity, but I wonder with these max deals how good he would be in 5 or 6 years. The knee surgery should be a red flag.

Bosh is kind of a dufus. He wants to play with Wade on a bad Miami team? Good luck to him too. He doesn't deserve max money. Of the top 3 I think he was the one the Bulls could most use. Still if he thinks the money and Wade are worth it than good riddance to him too. He's a good player, but not a great player. He's almost 7 feet tall and he doesn't want to play the post.

As for LeBron, it would be a smart move for him to come to Chicago. But I don't think he wants to live in Jordan's shadow. LeBron is an immature millionaire. He can't even show up to the free agent meetings with a suit. There's no way he's leaving Cleveland. The fact that he announces his decision on ESPN is ridiculous. No player is bigger than the team and LeBron is just jerking everyone's chains.

As for the Bulls, they may have done better if they could have moved Deng. It's obvious that they can't get anyone to come play here for whatever reason. It could be management or it could be that other teams have better offers. The Bulls best move is to pick up a shooting 2 guard and a post player. Taj Gibson is serviceable, but I think he could be better off the bench. The Bulls unloaded most of the roster, so they do have openings. They'll probably finish 5th or 6th in the East. They're okay as long as they don't let Rose get away.

Only guy the Bulls got rid of that I know they wanted was Hinrich and he was overpaid. Everyone else they wanted is still here. I want them to get David Lee. I know Boozer would be the sexier choice but I think Lee will be great with the Bulls. Rebounding wins games.

That would be stupid. No more than a $13M starting salary. I really wouldn't want to do that. I would be more interested in giving the younger and more dependable Lee a starting salary of around $11M.

Agreed about Lee, but I think at this point it's almost certain that Boozer gets a max. Someone will give it to him, whether its the Clips, Bulls or Nets.

Plus the Clips have a great basketball mind coaching for them now, so we've really got to pay to get Boozer.

lol, who gives a shit about Boozer and Korver? Paxson needed to go a long fucking time ago! He's far and away the worst GM in league history and I've been saying that for YEARS. Now people are finally starting to listen to me. For years I was laughed at when I said Deng had the worst contract in the NBA...and sure enough I was proven right this off season.

Paxson's entire legacy has ONE positive feature, the drafting of Noah. EVERY SINGLE thing he did besides that was a complete bust (and no, I am not giving him even one ounce of credit for drafting Rose #1, even a retard like Pax couldn't fuck that up).

They should rehire Crumbs, he was 100x better than Pax as a GM.
