I heard Goff for a little bit yesterday--what an embarrassing performance. He repeatedly said that he was standing by his sources, but then also repeatedly said that everything could change. The guy sounded like a total goof.

I don't blame Goff one bit. If I'm him and have sources telling me that, I'm reporting it. It'd be silly to hold it back.


And it's not like he is stating he knows what's going to happen, like Stephen A did. He's simply telling us what his sources told him.

Could things change? Of course... especially until July 8th.


I guess we could have a discussion about the sources, their credibility, what roles they play and whatnot... that's where I could see more of an indictment against him (if they weren't credible, of course). Granted we will never know, but IMO Goff wouldn't run with this unless the sources were good.

He seems like a good guy. He's just starting out as a basketball expert for the Score. I enjoy listening to what he says. It's hard to know what anyone will do since the Bulls aren't commenting and none of these NBA players are saying anything significant.

This guy just doesn't shut up. WTF? Been listening and he spoke for 15 minutes straight before taking a call. As for his "source", time will tell if he was getting played by Wade's people or not. In all probability, he was and is getting played.

He said tonight that his story was before the James meeting, and it was correct at the time, but things have since changed with the James presentation.

He's never going to admit that he either just made up this story based on getting caught up in the hype on Friday from Wade's 2nd visit or got this from the bad information that is provided rapid-fire on Twitter.

Either way, no big deal. I do like Goff, but he's not a NBA Insider despite what the station would have you believe. He's an entertaining host, and a funny guy, but that's where it ends.

I would be OK with him reporting immediate tweets, so I dont have to go find them.

I think JGoff's "imminent" source was KC Johnson. The truth is that nobody really knew until the reports were coming out earlier today.
