Green Bay +5.5 Lets face it New England is not what they used to be. Favre is going to go out strong this year

Miam -3.5 If Ronnie Brown doesn't play this could be a bad call. Vikings are done, have no creativity or talent on offense. And that 75M dollar offensive line or whatever it is has recently been atrocious. Miami has been looking good as of late.

Minn - Miami Under 33.5 see above

Pittsburgh -3.5 dont count these guys out yet. Remember where they were last season at this time. They did pretty good down the stretch. Cleveland is mediocre on their good days

Cincy +3.5 I am still a NO naysayer and will continue to get burned becasue of this attitude :) Cincy is the better team in this matchup

Buffalo +3 These teams suck. I predict a shootout on this one as the "I dont care" attitude on both sides will open up the offenses. Buffalo (London Fletcher-Baker-Brady-Bunch) brings one back to the house late in the game to seal the victory

Buffalo - Houston Over 36.5see above

Seattle -3.5 These guys have been damn good the last couple weeks without their studs. LOOK OUT. I should probably have researched the current status of SA and MH but I like this regardless

Cleveland +4
Browns have been playing better as of late and Pitt is very inconsistent. Roethlisberger has played terribly on the road and the Browns should hang in this one at home.

Green Bay +5.5
The Patriots have finally come back to earth the last few weeks. I can't go against Favre and points at home. New England by a field goal.

Time to get back in this thing. I alwys forget to do this before the games. Here are my pick for the NFL to try and get back into this thing (only 6 games and dead last!)

Let's start in Dallas where the momentum gaining Cowboys take on the undefeated Indianapolis Colts. This one is a gimmee to me. While the Cowboys have had some nice wins and Romo has played very well, they're still due to lay an egg here. They've done it all year. No better timing than to do it today against the only team witout a loss in the NFL. Expect the Colts to finally get some sacks on the QB (Freeney and Mathis). Manning will pick apart the Cowboys defense. I can't believe I'm getting a point in this one. I'm taking the Colts plus the one. Colts +1 vs. Cowboys

Next, I'll head to New Orleans where the Saints have been unstoppable...until now. The NFL always has a way of evening itself out. Teams that we may not expect to slide do, but then win in the most unexpected time. That time is now for the Bengals who HAVE to win today to keep their playoff lives alive. Not only am I taking the 5.5 points the Bengals are getting, I expect them to flat out win today. The Saints lose two in a row and come back down a little to reality. This team is good, but they aren't 12-4 material. I'm taking the Bengals plus the 3.5
Bengals +3.5 vs. Saints

Ooo, the greek.com just changed the line to Bears favored by only six. I'm all over this. I expect Chicago to win by 10. The Jets haven't seen a defense quite like this yet. Bears -6 @ Jets

Finally, I'm going to Green Bay for my final pick for NFL Sunday. The Green Bay Packers are 4-5 and I honestly didn't expect them to be playing as well as they have been. Favre is playing smart and confident. The New England Patriots secondary is hurting so bad that if Nas, Coast, Coach, and I were available, Belicheck would have no choice but to play us. This is going to be Green bay's biggest win of the season and make a lot of people cry in Vegas today. Take the Pack! Packers +5.5 vs Patriots

lines from the greek at 10:55 this morning

New England -5.5 over Green Bay

Green Bay has won 3 of 4 and could have won the one they lost. Their D still doesnt impress me as their wins were against Arizona/Miami and Minny. New England should have total focus today as they have lost two straight and I cant see them losing #3 in a row today. Brady should have a big day. Laying less than a TD seems like good value to me.

Tampa[/b] -3 over Washington

Campbell to start and no Portis for Wash. Tampa no prize either but with a new QB starting on the road I will say Tampa gets this one by more than a FG. Stat in this one-Favorite in Wash games on the road 9-0 ATS.

Buffalo +3 over Houston

I like to go against teams that arent used to being favorites. Houston hasnt been a fav all year. They played 3 tough games on the road in which they could have won all 3 but went 1-2. I think Buf has the better D and their O should be able to enough to get the SU today.

Chicago -6 over New York Jets

Bears make their 2nd straight trip to New York and that should help them. Jets one of the suprises this year but I think they come back to reality today. I cant see the Jets O doing much against the Bear D today. As long as the Bears stay away from giving the Jets a short field I cant see the Bears winning by less than a TD.

Pittsburgh -4 over Cleveland

With Pitts struggles early this year I think this is good value laying 4. Both teams are 3-6 but the turnover has been the Pitt killer. I think they can move the ball on this Brown D and if they can keep away from the turnover they should get this one by more than 4. Pitt needs every game the rest of the way if they still want a shot at the playoffs and I cant see Cowher letting his team take this one lightly.

Under 43.5 Stl/Car

Carolina has gone under 4 outta 5 home games this year. I think both D's will be able to slow down the other's offense today. When these two played here 2 years ago Panthers won 20-7.

Tampa Bay -3 vs. Washington
I'll continue to go against the Skins, and here the SKins have Campbell at QB, no Portis, a simplified run-oriented game plan....and still, a POS defense. TB should load up the box to contain the run game and have enough to score sufficient points against the Skins D.

line from the greek at 1:40 this afternoon

Indy +1 over Dallas

Seems like like alot of Dallas love in this one with the line moving from -1 Indy. I think Indy will lose this year but just dont see it today. Turf in Dallas so I dont think the Indy O will be slowed down. Romo has played decent for Dallas but gotta go with Manning in this one. Road team in Indy games 17-7 ATS. I think Indy wins 34-24

Broncos -2.5 vs Chargers- Let's see how Rivers and TOmlinson do against one of the better defenses in the league. The Chargers haven't won in Denver since 2000. So the Broncos should run the ball well in this one and take it all the way home.

Sunday Night 7 point Teaser

San Diego +9-1/2/Under 50
I don't know why so many guys like the over in this one, driving the number up to 43 now. The last time we saw the SD defense, it was being carved up by Cincy. But don't believe what you just saw. Denver's offense isn't Cincy. And Denver's offense hasn't had a breakout game all year...don't see it happening tonight either. Should see alot of LT and Bell tonight and not big numbers from either QB.

Giants +4
David Garrard will continue to struggle, Jacksonville's D-fence has been decimated by injuries this season. Look for Eli to bounce back and Tiki to continue to run the ball well on a injury-riddled JAX defense.

Giants vs. JAX Under 38
Expect alot of turnovers in this one. Garrard proved that he can throw the ball to the guys in the wrong jerseys consistently. Giants win this in an ugly one.

Giants +4 vs Jaguars- This is a game were you don't know about both teams, the Giants are full of injuries and the Jaguars look good, then lose to the Texans twice. I think the Giants will use Tiki to run and get the ball to Shockey more tonight to keep pace in the division and a shot at the secnd seed in the NFC.

Giants and Jaguars over 38- The Giants have a nice offense that can score on anybody and the Jaguars offense will be going againts a Giants defense full of injuries.
