Contracts yes, inept management ,no.
Yeah if they let him get the Rangers I will be pissed but they won't. The other group is headed up by Nolan Ryan I think or Tom Seaver.

he'd be even quicker to grandstand about shit that has nothing to do with what he can do as an owner, and he'd be very, very loud about stuff he can't do anything about right now.

who cares.

I almost want the Cubs to get NO HIT. That would be such an appropriate way to go into the all star break. I would hope that the EMBARASSMENT prompts them to do something...but it wont. There is after all...advertising to sell right Mr. Rickett's??

Do you really think he would buy the team and sit on his hands for 3 years for all these bad contracts to expire?? He seems way to impatient for that.

Cuban would be taking action or at the very least, providing plenty of interesting quotes and not give a fuck who he pisses off. We'll see what Ricketts does. He left the dyke sister in charge while "the family" was in Africa. Her tongue never uttered any quotes (regarding the Cubs anyway)   !

I wouldn't mind them being no hit either, but padilla is an uber douche so I don't want to see him get it.

Has Shingles owned the team for three years?

I think the cubs have the longest streak for a team for NOT being no hit or some other BS like that...so I suppose I'd like to see that keep going. Maybe a 1 hit shutout with them getting beat 15 to 0 would work the same.

Watch Padilla start head hunting now after the Castro hit. That's his rep.

That is why everyone hates him.

He has done nothing now and nothing to indicate he has any intention of trading some bad contracts and buying them out to facilitate getting better sooner. Cuban is impatient and has money to blow.

Cashner did exactly what he had to do there. Good for him.
