How did I know the Internet still had a few Matt Murton arguments in it?

Ok I will bite....

http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/m/murtoma01.shtml

Matt Murton hit .129 with 0 HR's and 2 RBI in Oakland in 2008 and .250 with 1 HR and 6 RBI's in Oakland in 2009.

In his major league career he has had 952 at bats. If he was any good at baseball he would have stuck on some team in the outfield at some point. Sometimes you are a career minor leaguer for a reason. Now can we PLEASE get back to finding out why Brant Brown didn't get enough of an opportunity to be a perrenial all star?

That's a name I haven't heard. Wow. Last I heard he was playing for the Schaumburg Flyers, but that was a few years back. Can't believe that asshat dropped that ball

I would rather have a lazy fuck who still bats .300 with a .500 SLG than some grindy fucker who REALLY CARES A LOT but can't hit for shit.

Had to give up reading nsbb.com because of Matt Murton fawning. Tried going back semi-recently and it was an even more odious assembly than it was in 2005. They're not even good at being stat geeks.
