Not angry at the act, because it was meaningless.

This is a long time issue I have with Hendry paying guys back with respect they are due for years in the game.

You could have sucked for the Cubs but if you are a long time baseball guy Hendry will sacrifice the good of the team above this so called "due respect"

Everyone knew this was coming, but they act as if it just came down the pipe today.

Obviousely after last nights 1st inning, Ricketts wanted to know how these 1st inning blow outs keep happeniing? Why are so many of our games lost in the first inning this year and to "sub par teams" Astros and Pirates, specifically.

Not that Hee Sop Chow chow was good but at the time he was the next big thing. he couldn't get on the field because Fred Mcgriff and his .189 average were trying to get 500 HR's!

Reporters asked Hendry about it and he said you need to let McGriff play because he is a veteran and he deserves the respect.

I have even less confidence in Ricketts after todays Bears like press conference. Why in the hell would Ricketts let Jim freaking Hendry lead the new Manager hiring effort??? I knew Ricketts wasnt Baseball savvy but this is just stupid.
