I really didn't. It's nearly August, and they're still on.

I have no idea what has been going on with the show, but I just went to the CBS2 site to see what was going on. Either Terry Savage is gone or on vacation - as they had another lady sitting in her seat, and she effectively talked over Mike and dismissed his ramblings.

Anyway, I watched a few of the videos and it is stunning how Mike just sits there and takes it. People talk over him, they don't go to him for input on certain topics, and I saw at least a couple of jabs at Mike by the others. Mr. Big Time really seemed like he should be sitting in the corner with one of those propeller hats on his head.

I just can't get over how this guy's last five years have gone, it's really amazing. I guess you could argue that his ego is what allowed him to succeed, but can you imagine if that guy could have just kept himself under control at The Score?

What a mess.

Yes,Harry,It's sad. Once Reinsdorf's 3rd sports station gets going,he will be back on his high horse.

Wow, ick, do you guys really think that North will make his triumphant return to that "old and tired" medium of radio if/when Reinsdorf starts his own station? I guess he'd have to, as this CBS show can't be long for the air and he spent plenty of time in Jerry's ass over the years, right?

I think it'd be good for the industry if there were another sports talker in town - I am amazed that there are only two "all" sports stations in the city. So many other towns, several smaller than Chicago, have 3-4.

I was watching a couple weeks ago and Terry Savage wasn't there then. I don't think she's on the show anymore.

Also, that had some old Dr. Somebody (not me) as a panelist as Jiggs was on vacation. The guy seemed a little too happy to be there.

It's not a good show.

I'd even consider watching the show if it was just Jiggs and North again and they did caning for the whole show. That would be better than it is now.

if u want a good chuckle look at the clip about the italian hall of fame getting foreclosed. pappy seems to think if the owner, randazzo, who is a good friend of his, would buy advertising from pappy then people would flock to this museum
at least randazzo is smart enough to tell nort to fuck off by the way, how is that beachfront property in park ridge doing?

Similarities abound....two City kids from working class backgrounds who exceed any and all expectations...fail to realize there are a whole lot of folks a lot smarter than they are...surround themselves with lackeys...decide they are bulletproof......push the envelopes...and come crashing back to Earth...

The best part of the new house out here is they never disconnected the cable, so I have the basic package and the rockford channels, which means no M-M for me. It was a bit difficult at times, but I worked through it.

I did check out the video clips, not looking good for pappy, I almost got the feeling that the others on the show have realized he has nothing to offer and he now realizes it, why its still on, no clue, maybe CBS is just waiting for school to start so they play back to back "saved by the bell" reruns.
