DeWitt might be the 3rd baseman next year. ARam at first.

I am fine with ARam playing 1st base next year but you need to get someone with a little bit more pop playing 3rd base. The Jeff Baker/Blake DeWitt pu pu platter isn't getting the job done. I am getting a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that the Cubs are going to re-sign D-Lee anyways.

Please put your finger down your throat and remove that bad feeling. Hendry also said something to the tune of " I have no problem with him staying (with the all of his great contributions in the past to the club) and FINISHING OUT HIS CONTRACT" He didn't just say Lee would like to stay in chicago.

amazing the silly ideas people come up with...didnt u read above when I said:

"another screwball idea...only the Cubs consistently make players change positions at the major-league level, which screws up their development

name one guy that the cubs forced to change positions that succeeded in the last 30 years...not one...the guy was on his way out of town soon after

the 1B we seek is right in our system and is having a GREAT year under Sandberg: Micah Hoffpauir"

u got 2 quality 1B in house (Micah and D-Lee), and u think Aram will play first?? lol

I never said it was a good idea, or even likely. I just floated it as the type of thing that teams on the rebuild will try to do.

Colvin is an outfielder, not a 1B...same with Nady, he looks so silly playing 1B, he's never played there before this year

Colvin played 1B in the minors, at least part-time.
