So does anyone still want to defend Ricketts decision to let Lou remain employed for the duration of this season? This would be a good time to tell Lou to just stay home & call it a career.

It really is a good reason. Lou can say he needs to be with his family and the Cubs can be happy without him.

Want to make a bet we hear this come September when Iowa is finished and conveniently old #23 has nothing to do?

Stupid Question....and honestly I dont really give a shit....but if the Cubs were to ever win a game or two again when Pinella is on this "leave"....does he get credit for a managerial win? Do theses wins & losses go in his record? Again...I dont care...but curious.
