I was leaving Office Depot in downtown Minneapolis and the cashier said that the person with a hooded sweatshirt who just walked by was Sprewell. So I figured "Carpe Diem" or something and went over to talk to him. He just sort of ignored me when I was talking to him. He was completely tuning me out. I wasn't going to ask for an autograph or anything, but I feared if I didn't leave he would get violent.

I hear most people that talk to him become choked up in the end.

May I ask how one strikes up a conversation with "Spree in a Office Depot?

and what the topic could be?

"If they don't give us a free box of pens, you choke the manager and I will run for it?"

I was asking him what he was getting. He was over by the office chairs.

He was a beast of a player, but you're not going to have many friends when you're accused of choking people.

Didn't Spree also sink his boat in the middle of the channel that leads from Milwaukee to Lake Michigan?

He probably should have sunk that bitch. He got that boat repossessed and a house in New York foreclosed

He didn't sink it, he ran it aground and then wouldn't (or couldn't) pay to have it towed out.

Did you ask him how you're supposed to feed your family on the lousy staple/printer ink budget your asshole boss has you on?

What was a little strange was how he just sort of vanished from the NBA. He probably had a couple decent seasons left in him after his last season with the T-Wolves.
