I'm glad I didn't even bother to watch the replay last night.

The one point I did truly agree with these guys on is the fact Caleb is not a "serviceable" second string. I mean, every three or four years a backup QB is winning a super bowl. Jerry is completely unprepared this year for the backup QB.

Out of curiousity did any team end up signing Bulger as a backup? Since he knew the Martz system I thought he could have been a decent fit.

Honestly that's more a product of a suspiscious O line and mediocre receivers. A better line with better receivers makes for better back up QB's.

Pretty sure a Bear defender just missed another tackle.

Just don't want see any injuries during pre-season BUT when other teams get CB'd blitz, that usually means a quick hitter to the uncovered WR,just saying.

Pretty sure Bulger is backing up Flacco in Baltimore. I agree with your assessment that he could
have been a solid back up in Chicago if he was willing to work with Martz again.

I think you just answered why this isn't the case.

Don, I am not sure if that is the reason but that is the impression I get.
Unfortunately, we'll likely see this all unfold in front of us if/when the
Bears lose 3 or 4 in a row and all the lovey dovey feelings from training
camp fade away.

Handley pretty much said that Dan LeFevour has no chance to ever really play in the NFL. Now he might be right, but there is no way you could ever realize this by seeing him play a quarter or two in preseason game 1.
