If he isn't on in chicago and the only thing he has any remote knowledge about involves chicago sports, then what the hell is he going to talk about and to whom will he be talking? What is he going to do, have a segment on best damn sports show (is that even still on?) with Tom Arnold?

Hello? McFly? FOX Sports Net pulled the plug on "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" about a year or two ago! Besides, the very unfunny Tom Arnold left the show about 3 years ago! Can't say I blame him...

Too bad FOX Sports continues to use the dreadfully boring Chris Rose as host of the network's "Saturday Baseball Game of the Week", as well as PBP on selected games & will be utilized AGAIN this fall on the "NFL on FOX". Rose and/or Chris Myers, who I swear to God is everywhere as well, will work selected games with Kurt Warner starting in October.

Factually speaking, 670 The SCORE used to be the local home of FOX Sports Radio overnights, long before Les Grobstein returned about a year ago. WSCR carries Sporting News Radio, also based in Los Angeles, Saturday & Sunday overnights...

I thought that was still on. I haven't gotten Fox Sports in years, but I thought I saw the best damn top 50 of something in the not so distant past.

I'd like to think that FOX, playing off the old SuperFans SNL skits, have enlisted Pappy as some sort of meta-joke in that his broadcast will be a parody of Chicago of sorts, except unlike the folks on SNL, Pappy won't be in on the joke. In turn, his idiocy will be able to be parceled and sold off to other shows on their family of networks - a new source of idiot soundbites for others to use all across this great nation of ours.
