I really wish the Cubs would have started dumping players earlier. They're getting back crumbs now. They need to find a way to get rid of the other big contracts before the end of August or during the winter.

Maybe a team in Japan will buy Fuk back. They only really need to dump Aram and Soriano. I wish they could find a way to agree to a buy out of Aram's final year. He could bring back a few better prospects if that were the case. If the other team paid the remainder of this years deal and the cubs bought him out of next years option for 5-7 mil then I could see it happening.

Oh ya, how the hell did I forget about him. What sucks is that only byrd and dempster are going to bring you back any legit prospects. I like both of them being around. One guy to lead the young pitchers and another to lead the young position players. The Mets are still dumb enough to take Z, but they will sent some Z like cats back.

They will need to eat a lot of salary to make it work. In the long run it makes a lot of sense.
