My vote is yes.

They are currently 50-72. They would have to go at least 13-27 the rest of the season to not lose 100. They are currently in a White Sox Vs. Twins-esque freefall.

They are too terrible NOT to lose 100. At least the kids are learning how to get their ass kicked on a daily basis. What a fucking joke this franchise is.

I am thankful I have not been able to watch the last few days. God these fucking guys blow. I hope they lose 100. I want to see the fat man sweat some more. Perhaps then, Shingles will come to his senses and launch the stupid bastard.

Another question, I know he has been scuffling, but why is Colvin not playing everyday?

They'll lose a hundred. No doubt. Castro could be the 3rd rookie ever to win a batting title. Pretty cool accomplishment. Moral victory if you will.

Is he even in the batting title race?

NL Batting Race

1. Votto- .323
2. Prado- .319
3. Gonzalez- .318
4. Polanco- .318
5. Tulowitzki- .318
6. Furcal- .316
7. Pujols- .314
8. Castro- .309

Castro should have enough ABs (337) to qualify pretty soon, if he hasnt already. The kid's 3 for 20 in his last 6 games tho.

B.Posey is batting .341 with 264 ABs. Omar Infante is batting .344 with 302 ABs. How come I havent heard much about Infante this season? Is he hurt?

Ricketts isn't done evaluating his team yet.

Infante was an All Star. He might not get attention because, before Chipper went down, he didn't have a regular position. He's one of those "super utility" type guys.

I've heard his verbal evaluations...

Ricketts: "Lou is great manager"

Ricketts: "Jim is a great GM"

Ricketts: "The young talent in the system is great"

Ricketts: "The talent evaluators are great"

Ricketts: "Wrigley Field is great"

Ricketts: "The fans are great"

Ricketts: "Dissapointed with the on field performance and the results, but the team is great. The players are great people."

FUCK OFF MR. RICKETTS. This whole god damn thing blew up in your face. Don't go around trying to BLOW GREAT SMOKE UP OUR ASS!!!! The ONLY correct move for you to make is to STEP THE FUCK UP, SHOW SOME BALLS and FIRE these "GREAT" people who are accountable for this. Hendry...dead ass Pinella, Rothschild....They all suck, and so far the only thing great during your tenure as owner is....GREAT SUCKAGE!!!

They'll lose 100. After all "What are ya to do"...Our great manager is leading them toward it.

Right now they are 55-76 with 31 games left to play. To lose 100, they would have to go 7-24 or worse the rest of the year. They are bad, but I don't think they are that bad.

Not going to lose 100. Castro will certainly be a ROY finalist and Cub fans just have to hope the farm system continues to produce more like him in the next couple years.

What's a finalist? Top 3? Top 5?

Maybe, he's no lock for that.

By the way, Rios just hit one out. You gonna give us the play-by-play on that or are you watching the Cub game?

Alternating between the 2. The K Buehrle got with 1 out last inning was ridiculous. That pitch went AROUND the dish. The ump gave him a couple pitches that inning. Still, Buehrle has struggled tonight. Way too many pitches to get through 5 too.

I think he'll be top 5. Heyward, Posey and Garcia will be top 3.

Posey has been awesome. Him and Miggy Cabrera have carried my fantasy team for a while.

The only thing Heyward has done that the others have not is be a starter from day 1 of the season. Posey should walk away with this thing with Castro and Garcia battling for runner up. Colvin would be on the list if lou didn't screw him over for half of the season.

They will probably finish with 95 or 96 losses.
