Soriano dogs it on another pop up. Brenly calls him out. Hasn't everybody been saying how Soriano has been hustling and improving his defense this year? Please. Soriano and Ramirez are fucking lazy ass dogs. Thanks for locking them up long term Hendry, you complete butcher of a GM.

I keep flipping back and forth from the little league game to this game and I can't tell much of a difference in the quality of play.

They look better than they did yesterday and Byrd is finally batting in the spot he should have been batting since the first month of the season. That is until he got his wrist jacked up and left the game.

This is some of the best baseball I've seen the cubs play since well, the San Francisco series when Lou and Lee were both not there. :thumleft: The boys of Quade are unstoppable.

Fuck Mike Quade. Give me a break. I don't know what it is about this guy, but I really can't deal with his mug on the top step of the dugout. Jim Essian flashbacks.

Quade was way too glib in the postgame interview...seemed really weird and naive, when u contrast that to Lou always being careful with his words

I didnt have an opinion on Quade, but now I already think he's a dufus...

I liked Jim Essian...dont compare Q to Essian

Quade can not be stopped. Dude is a winning machine. The cubs are on fire. The division is once again within grasp. Quade and his rugged band of young cubs may never lose again...ever. If you are any team that is not the cubs, why bother even playing the rest of the season. This team can not be beaten. Start pressing the rings. For post season conditioning this team will win over 9 NFL games, 13 NHL games and finish 4th in the chase for the cup. While some minor scheduling will still have to be worked out this team is predicted to qualify for the next World Cup. This man and this team know no limits. I am just honored to have been able to watch it from day one.

You liked Jim Essian? Maybe the person...but Jim Essian the manager was a complete disaster. That guy was a baseball idiot.

You know....if you take the Cubs winning percentage under Mike Quade and extrapolate it over the remaining games....

No.

I watched a half inning last night. That's about all I can stomach.

Other than that its bad for the soul

of course, but he wasnt expected to do anything...i still liked him though...seemed like a nice guy, a young players' manager...

he was brought up from the minors...to me he is part of the cubs family and part of Cubs lore and cubs family...

I shamelessly watched the last 4 innings last night. Pretty funny watching past Cub failure Riggs vs. future Cub castoff Quade.

Yesterday was a win using the new guidelines. With a little luck, Castro will be in the top 5 in batting average in NL by end of next week.

Starlin Castro
ABs 4
Hits 1 double
avg .315

Tyler Colvin
ABs 3
Runs 1
Hits 2 single/HR
RBI 2
Avg .255

Today's Lineup

Fukudome
Castro
Byrd
ARam
Hoff
Soriano
DeWitt
Soto

Glad to see Quade is an idiot when it comes to making lineups as well. Please explain to me why the guy with the .913 OPS is hitting 8th.

I need to go back to ignoring this team. Someone keep me updated on Castro please

All criticisms of Mike Quade are to be tabled until the Cubs lose a game. The Cubs are comin back.

God dammit hendry. Stop making quade put fuk in the lineup with colvin on the bench. Trade him or sit him. Just cause your dumbass owes him money does not mean that I have see him play in favor of colvin.

Quade looks like the actor who played the squadron commander from Top Gun. Also played the principal in Back to the Future.

So maybe now SHARK can refer to him as the James Tolkan-looking Mike Quade.
