this, along with "the social network", are two movies i'm actually quite stoked to see in the coming months.

couple others i have my eye on in september: "the town", "wall street: money never sleeps", and woody's new one, "you will meet a tall dark stranger".

Wasn't this movie one of the trailers that were included in Grindhouse? I always thought those trailers were just a joke.

I guess they weren't...

I think its pretty cool that Danny Trejo has the lead for once instead of being the stereotypical knife weilding latino villain who always gets killed off right after the black guy

they were. but then i guess they became so popular that someone threw some money at RR to make it into a feature.

unfortunately i think eli roth is also following this, with "thanksgiving" which i don't care how good it could be...it could never match as a feature film what it did as a trailer.

Saw it this morning. It was a comic book load of violence and some sex.
Mostly violent BUT Jessica Alba does a quick partial nude scene while Lindsay Lohan shows T&A and isn't shy about it. Very entertaining and badass. I got my 6 bucks worth & give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Potential cult classic.

I still haven't seen it.

I'm sure I'll watch it when it hits cable.

Define "great." Were you expecting some deep meaning of life type of a movie? It's an exploitation flick. What else did you expect from the guy who did From Dusk Till Dawn.

i thought the first half of the movie was awesome, but it did leave you feeling a little too corny at the end. still a great flick though. alba is HOT AS FUCK and so is michelle in that movie.
