Even when he is throwing well, he is an inaccurate thrower, but he gets the balls to the area quickly and he can get it anywhere on the field. This works really well with BIG WR's! Guys that can screen away defenders or outjump them for these slightly inaccurate throws.

Outside of all the crappy plays and high priced contract issues, DA is Cutlers favorite WR on this team to throw to at 6'1", he isnt even that big! But he is the only Bigger WR

Knox does a nice job of fighting for the ball and trying to go up and get it, but a bigger WR is already up there and just does a better job of fighting for the ball.

If Cutler develops into what MArtz wants, that is a guy who throws to a spot and hits scatback WR's in full stride....Great! but I don't see it happening because it is not what Cutler does.

and a QB on another time zone!

He will get the ball in the area and get it there on a frozen rope, instead of the soft loft, that some guys throw, which does prevent a number of interceptions, but the throws for the most part are not going to be to a spot for the WR to catch it in motion.

Sure hope I am 100% wrong on this, but it is everything I have seen in every pregame this year.

i don't think he's inaccurate. he does wait to see someone open before he throws though.

He's only inaccurate some of the time.

And that has nothing to do with accuracy.

THe ultimate in stupid meatball fandom is this continuing hate of Cutler because of the hardon fans had for Orton.

Tell Cutler to grow a neck beard and be more grindy and he'll have fans.

I love the kid, and get plenty peeved when people go the simplistic route when trying to explain his struggles, but yeah, he is nowhere near as accurate as he was in Denver. I was saying it last year. This idea that he would hit guys in stride, really hasn't happened. A lot of high throws.

I did fantasy football for two years before I had enough, but I had Cutler both years while he was still in Denver so I watched a lot of games. That kid has insane talent, and I would say he is operating at maybe 70% of his ceiling in Chicago.

So we can't be critical of Cutler without "having a hard-on" for Ortman?

The Cutler debate has reached healthcare debate levels of ridiculous. The arguments against this kid are no less ridiculous.

Maybe if Cutler were to go ahead and maybe lead one of his teams to the playoffs one of these years maybe he'd have more support among fans. Maybe.

This is Cutler's 5th season. Has any truly great or even near great QB ever taken more than 4 seasons in the league to make the playoffs for the first time?

Aren't you the one who thinks Grossman should still be here?

So you don't think Cutler's league-leading 26 interceptions last year have anything to do with the skepticism about his abilities?
