They are playing in about 20 minutes. Thats really all I got on this series. They should be showing the AAA game instead today. Its Iowa vs Memphis (cards AAA) in what has become a 1 game winner take all regular season finale.

Its not looking good for starter Jay Jackson and the Iowa cubs so far. The redbirds have only plated 2 runs, but have also stranded 5 through only 2 innings.

The bats have come alive in Iowa. Behind the power of Jason Dubois, Robinson Chirinos and old timer Bobby Scales the I-Cubs have a 5-3 lead. In the big league game Soto just got trucked by Michael Bourn which will surely infuriate someone upon their return from vacation/compound.

I heard that Tom Dreesen was going to be in the booth, and I was going to make a post saying "How long until he mentions that he's from Harvey?"....

Before I made the post, literally 5-10 seconds after Len introduces him, Dreesen mentions that he's from Harvey. :roll:

Time for some call ups, the Iowa Cubs season has come to an end at the hands of the Memphis cardinals.
