When Brenly misses time on TV or Santo more frequently is gone on radio we see or hear a steady stream of Moreland, Otto and Hollandsworth.

I think WGN is feeling them out and this is an unofficial audition for the job when Santo leaves or Brenly goes back to managing.

Who does everyone like best?

I like Otto.

I think they should replace them with the canned audio of the 3 clowns on the MLB The Show video game. That would be outstanding.

Otto is terrible. I think someone like Grace or Sutclifffe will join Pat Hughes at some point.

Whats Randy Hundley doing?

They're all bad. Go get Mike Krukow.

Dan Pleasac would work for me. Grace or Sutcliffe would be fine too.

Sutcliffe is great.

Grace + Brenneman = quality Diamondbacks broadcast

Grace + Dick Stockton on Fox = Well, Dick Stockton is involved, so you know how bad it is.

Grace is a decent analyst, Stutcliffe is too ESPN-ized.

Moreland or Sutcliffe

they are true Cubs

Otto and Hollandsworth are ok, but they are not true Cubs, and they are both too ugly for TV

But Sutcliffe wasn't a homegrown talent. Doesn't that mean that you have to hate him (like Blake Dewitt)?

I couldn't edit, but I found whistler's thoughts on non-homegrown talent:

but at least he played Barney in his place...Barney should really be playing second everyday...i dont understand Hendry's love for retreads like DeWitt and Nady
why our starting infield isnt Aram, Castro, Barney, and Hoffpauir, is mind-boggling

DeWitt is only like 26...

   yea but he's from another team and he replaced a solid home-grown product and so i hate him

You are contradicting yourself. I am calling you out for it. I do not consider this a dumb question. You see your previous statement. If you don't have an actual answer to back up the reason you contradict yourself, that's fine. I am already convinced that you are baseball stupid, so that won't change my opinion.

Mark Grace's act would get old very fast. Meatball content, bad delivery.

Krukow and Kuiper are a package deal.

Sutcliffe is too chummy with the players.
