remember Hendry justifying the acquisition of Joey Gathright by saying the team is "faster"?

how come noone saw through that? how come there wasn't an uproar? how did we sign him and start him in the Majors and leave Sam Fuld to wither at AAA??

in any case, Gathright is another ex-Cub that McPhail took on!!

he had a terrible year with the Orioles AAA team, hitting only .185 !!!

once again, how does a guy a year older and a year wiser who hit .185 in AAA, get picked over a bunch of other candidates the year before on the big club??

fuck Joey Gathright!!
