why don't you ask him in a non-dull, non-boring, compelling manner and maybe Mac will notice you in one of his daily perusals of the board.... or not

Wow. Can't even begin to tell you what a painful listen LoHo is Mac. Waaaay to overeager. Not really funny. Consistently tells Sox, Cubs, Bears and Bulls fans what this or that means and what they should be watching for as if he has some higher level of sports comprehension. Not as smart as he thinks he is.

Using your Goff prediction, wouldn't it be logical and make for a better listen if you gave the LoHo co-hosting spots to Jason?

LoHo is radio Eddie Haskell.

Congratualtions......you've just been named....Brown's Chicken Caller Of The Show!!!

I hear a drum roll in my head
Had no idea that you were the VO for that. Thought it was Russ Mitera (sp?)

Yeah. Mac thinks he's a good teammate cuz Larry always compliments him on his hair and dress like Eddie did with Mrs. Cleaver. Meanwhile, when she left the room, Eddie was always convincing Walley to join him in some evil scheme.

Mac said, "Ask Blanzy" whatever the fuck that means.

Also, when B&B played Jack McKeon choking on his cigar, Terry said, "Thats either Jack or Steve Stone."

* * Lawrence Holmes is one of the best fucking teammates I've ever had. A credit to his parents, his coaches at H-F and his friends.

Is this a tribute to Holmes or a knock on Macs other teamates?

Glad to see the ass kissing goes both ways in that relationship. Very unseemly seeing it only from Larry everyday. That being said, I guess you've never been known to have great teammates anyway, so that bar can't be set very high to begin with.

Whew, I feel better, do come back soon.

Is Mac saying he's a good teammate without saying he's a good talk show host similar to when my date tells me I'd make a good friend right after I paid the check? Or am I reading too much into it?

Good to be back, Bucky. Somebody starts writing something interesting and I'll comment more. I'll share something with you.... in the August monthly -- not the end-all, be-all but a monthly ledger -- ESPN was 15th among adult men. 15th. I hope Jim Pastor and Justin Craig are sleeping well at night.

A few other nuggets to stir it up....

* Great to have Ben Finfer back on the staff. It's great for the show... for Ben... and for me personally. Get enormous joy seeing those "on the tree" prosper and in my presence. He's the best at what he does. By a mile. In combination with Jay Zawasky and Nick Shepkowski, I have the best production staff in town.

* Finji's won't be the last former co-worker I bring over.

* Matt Spiegel rocks as a co-host. I became comfortable with a three-man weave after a couple years with J&H. I still like three... but don't feel we need it. Matt is as prepared as any partner I've had and we resolve conflict as quickly and positively as any partner I've ever worked with.

* The Heavy Fuel reunion wasn't a one time thing. All four of us liked it. We're going to do that wife swap thing again. No dates yet, but don't be surprised if it happens once or twice a quarter.

* Lawrence Holmes is one of the best fucking teammates I've ever had. A credit to his parents, his coaches at H-F and his friends.

* In the year 2020, Jason Goff will be one of the most popular sports talk hosts in Chicago.

Matt Spiegel sucks as a co-host. He is lucky that you think he is good, because without you, Meatpants would be working in Peoria or Decatur, which is about where he belongs.

How about you & Terry do about 60 HFC shows each quarter?

LoHo is a good team mate??? At least you didn't say that he is a good radio host.

Jason Goff should already be the most popular sports talk host in Chicago. Why he doesn't get a break is a mystery. Meanwhile, Mitch forces LoHo on us every fucking day, along with the parade of fill in guys who are bad.

I'm a long time fan of yours Mac, but I look forward to the days when Spiegel is off.

No offense to you Mac, because I do like your show, but this board has been just fine while you have decided that facebook is somehow superior to it.

Gotta disagree Rick as this place has been the same 5 douchebags slobbering over each other on who can get the most attention and post the most handjobs about each other and quite frankly this place is as stale as its ever been . Several of us were at a remote a few weeks back and agreed this place is in a slump and we've become board with it . Mac should come back and breath some life into this joint . At least on Facebook you don't get the same ole "LOOK AT ME " and my 10,000 posts .

Yes, I don't think the pairing of the enthusiasm for Goff's prowess as a host with the enthusiasm for Holmes's "character" was unintentional. Mac's opinion of Holmes's hosting ability may not be at odds with the prevailing view here.

Rick has grown disenchanted with a country where Gene Keady's greatness isn't recognized with a national holiday and Rex Grossman is allowed to roam the streets freely no matter the time of day.

While you pants around the ankles cretins were telling each other how great you are and complaining about sports radio like old bitches I had Spaulding on my lap during the show and I guess the last time you had a chick on your lap it cost you $20 .

Your idea of a slump is shaking your dick off 6 times instead of 7 after pissing . The funny thing about the blowhards on this board is that you all talk a good game but never come out to show us how pathetic you are in public so you hide behind a keyboard and whine all day .

So you went out with friends and decided to whine in person? How is that any different? When I go out, I don't complain to my friends that my message board is going to the dumps. I like to have a good time. And I wouldn't consider watching people talk on the radio at some trendy Naperville bar a good time.
