* Urlacher angry about the coaching staff taking a penalty instead of the play which had Dallas 2nd & 13.

* In the 2nd half,Cutler could not get the play on his helmet and called a TO instead of just calling his own play. Are today's QB's that brainwashed as to not call their own plays?

* Tommie Harris: Is he still on the team?

* In the second half,the Cowboys were 3rd and long BUT Julius Peppers was on the sidelines. I think the Bears got a Turnover on that play BUT why is the 90million dollar man not playing on 3rd downs?

Yea, they didn't mention it. I'd recommend Twitter to anyone during the game. Biggs, Zaidman and a host of other Chi writers provide great updates you don't get from the announcers.

Tommie Harris was terrible yesterday. I still don't understand why the Bears don't release him & the $8 Million dollars the Bears will pay him this year. That's right...500K PER GAME for a stat line like this yesterday:

He did absolutely nothing yesterday.

At least Peppers had the excuse he was double teamed. I watced Tommie for a series and 2 plays he ended up face down on the ground with a guy on top of him and the 3rd play he was cut. Watching him off and on resulted in similar results for him.

Not sure how many snaps Toeaina was out there for but he got his name called a
number of times. If he is going to play with passion and effort I have no problem
keeping him in a little more often. I'd like to see a little more pressure on the
opponents QB as well. We're going to need to get to Rodgers next weekend if
we want to force any turnovers. He is close to as accurate as Cutler back there.

They're giving up 28 yards/game on the ground and 1.4 yards/rush.

Urlacher and Briggs seem to have enough room to move to make every tackle so I can live with their seeming lack of production in the run game.

The Bears defense has faced 85 passing plays (4th most in the NFL) versus 41 running plays (29th most in the NFL). So, short of getting a sack, there haven't been a lot of tackles to be had on the line of scrimmage.

He's made some big bad plays.

But, then he hasn't needed to make any big plays and they've done just fine - better than fine, in fact.

Especially so, considering that Lovie and His Fearless and Formidable Cadre of Arm-Rakers are willing to grant you as many yards via the air as you desire in manageable doses.

I surprised anybody bothers to run against the Bears. I think they do it out of habit.
