While i always knew it was there, never once read it, as I rarely even grab a paper. Today, was a long day of waiting for ATT, COMCAST, XO to show up and do some line testing, so I sat from 8 AM to 5 PM at a location. Bought a Sun Times and read probably 80% of the paper. Obits, cartoons, horoscopes, ect, but had zero inclination to read North and Jiggs, but I did look at it and see the ads.

After looking at the layout, is this suppossed to be an arguement in the newspaper between the 2???

If so, I think even Scorehead would agree North isnt writing this?

So, do North and Jiggs call each other each day, have a pseudo disagreement on the phone for 5 minutes? someone tapes it and then transcribes it for the Lucky people of Chicago???

And they get a check for $100 each week?

Does Spada advertise his ambulance chasing services or maybe his joke of a show with irrelevant guests from yesteryear?

I've read this section from time to time. There is usually always a copy of the suntimes in our breakroom, so I snag it during my lunch to read it.

I'm sure it surprises no one that the format of the PAID ADVERTISEMENT has changed three or four times already. It used to be an "I'm Right" - "I'm Right" delio where each would take one side of question and then "write" about it. Think they had some stupid vote / poll that went along with it where they would say which percentage of the 5 or 6 people responding thought who was right. Stupid.

Then the PAID ADVERTISEMENT was each one just "writing" their independant thoughts and observations in side by side columns.

Then I noticed what BF is talking about here. Now they are attempting to have this psuedo conversation....back & forth bullshit as if it were a transcript from an actual radio show...WHICH THEY DO NOT HAVE!! Fantasy Radio for Northy boy. He is brilliant...PAYS for a page in the paper so he can insert a transcript from a fake radio show!!

God bless the stupid!

I have read everyone of these since they started appearing. (40 minutes on the blue line each day, gotta occupy the time somehow). Always good for a few laughs. Within the last week or two North called Selig the best baseball commish ever. When the Hawks were in the playoffs he claimed there was no way Hawks would win it all with Niemi. It's a great read just because you get reminded about how clueless this guy is when it comes to sports. Thankfully he never tried to open up a sports handicapping service.
