John Mellencamp -- No Better Than This

On a side note, I found this to be a pretty interesting album. All the songs sound like
cover songs from long ago. If you like Mellencamp, a majority of acoustic guitar
and a folky/country sound you'll love this. Produced by T-Bone Burnett they recorded
all songs on an old reel to reel and one microphone. They recorded in a number of places
including the basement of a church, a hotel room where Robert Johnson first recorded and
Sun Studios in Memphis. The album sounds like you are in an old club. Gives it a very
eeire and cool sound, but not for everyone.
