Hendry will bully any player he can, any manager he can, and any other GM he can...he thinks he is the only one on the road so to speak

Bradley criticizes the fans, suspend him...Z blows up, suspend him the same day...Ohman makes a very minor critical comment, he is traded...Theriot says he doesn't think he will be traded, he is traded the next day...no way any GM could get rid of Sosa, he bullies Baltimore into it...no way any GM can get rid of Bradley, he bullies Seattle into it AND gets cash back...fleecing Pittsburgh left and right over the years...the guy is a big boy's club mentality when he has no right to be...the only guy he respected was Lou Piniella, because Piniella ( a former Yankee) was the one who brought the big boys club mentality here

look at how he was honest about Trammell not being considered...he has no diplomacy...it bugged him so much that Trammell was "in the way" that he had to come out and run roughshot over him in public and say he wouldnt be considered for the manager's job...ok maybe u dont think he's a candidate but dont humiliate him in public

he hates the idea of being patient with kids and he wants to retool and have another veteran lineup next year...same thing he did after the 2006 season...he only gives kids a chance when they are out of a race...same as in 2006...he doesnt give it another year for the kids to flourish and establish themselves...sure the retreads produced in 2007 and 2008, but where did that leave us long-term? nowhere...Aardsma was gone, Theriot was gone after his first ever slump, Fontenot was gone after being great for us...the only kid from 2006 that lasted was Sean Marshall...and even he was treated like garbage until this year

As far as not being patient with kids, David Aardsma is not good (neither was Neil Cotts). Fontenot was a return piece in the Sosa trade, or did that escape your memory?

Finally, when it comes to Trammell, everyone knew he wasn't going to get a shot at managing the team. He knew it too. There is a stigma that comes with managing the worst team in the last 50 years or so (giving him the interm gig would be akin to Lovie quitting in week 8 and having Marinelli take over instead of Martz or Tice). Quade was a successful minor league manager with more experience than Trammell.
