Are the Pats in any kind of mindset to move this guy. Even if it took a 1st rounder, this would be an immediate upgrade at the biggest position that poses an impediment to Bears success going forward this season.

At some point though, this team (and especially th O-line) has to get younger.

That point was after the Super Bowl year when Angelo rolled the dice with veterans and won. The Bears are literally five years behind in building an offensive line from within. They could justifiably use an entire draft on the offensive line in 2011.

It will be kind of amusing if they go on to a great season. Can you remember a team that did well with so little hope for success in the future? The Bears have emergency level needs of talent upgrades/replacements at every position on the field except for the offensive skill positions.

This may be a first. I agree 100% with everything you've said above. Congratulations on being right!

The early morning feedings are turning your mind to mush.

Thinking about this a little more, I may have been overly harsh. Louis seems to be progressing and the coaching staff certainly is showing some confidence in Webb. Now, if Chris Williams could just be the #1 pick Angelo drafted, maybe you could make a case against Angelo's incompetence.
