The Score really should give Stu and Slappy an audition for Saturday. That would be quite a show!!!  8) 8)

It would be great if he could actually get Rosenbloom to slap him on air.

This really sucks if it means more airtime for that douchefuck Mark Grote. Annoying and unentertaining are not good qualities for a talk show host.

I'm not sure the dump button re-sets fast enough to have a show hosted by STU :-)

I'm not sure who will be waking up Chicago sports fans with Steve Rosenbloom on The SCORE with "Whip" joining "Eric & Kathy" on the MIX. "Whip" will have some big shoes to fill with Mark Suppelsa now 100% committed to his anchoring duties on WGN/CW9's "Evening News" and "The Nine O'Clock News". Suppelsa actually replaced another veteran newsman in Barry Keefe on that popular morning show. Barry was the deep-voiced newsman at The MIX and a big part of parent company Bonneville for 3 decades before he retired a few years ago. If anyone ever heard Keefe, you'd swear he'd be a natural for WFMT with those deep pipes of his...

Anyway, you may have noticed the name Ben Finfer appear in the schedule at 670thescore.com the last 2 weeks. Last Saturday, Mac's latest producer co-hosted a show with Matt "The Dancing Fool" Rodewald now that "The Scorecard" has reached the end of their season talking golf. This Saturday, Finfer hosts from 6-7a before the "Chicago Marathon Preview Show". I think it's safe to say that Finfer will be taking on some hosting work at The SCORE much like he used to do down the dial at ESPN Radio 1000 with Mac...

Paruch sucked as a sports guy. He spoke well and fluently, and played the 'Sox/Cubs" fan well, and knew some history but you can tell didnt watch the teams and knew little recent history.

He will fit perfectly with them . lol

Good riddance!

And we'll never forget the "I love the World Baseball Classic" show filling in for Murph.

That being said, its a little sad that as a part time sports guy fill in host he was better at it than a lot of the more seasoned dudes at the station.

If Paruch leaving means more Joe Bartosch, I'm all for it.

Yea. Joe's old Sunday night show was great. I'll bet Joe & Boers would be hilarious together.

I think Bartos(c?)h secretly works for every sports station in the world.

This is sad news. I like Paruch a lot. The photo SFA has with him is amazing.

Barry Rozner. Hockey Morning in Chicago. If only Tim Hortons made inroads into our market, bang, instant sponsorship.

What makes anyone think his duties on a morning show will keep him from doing weekend and fill in work at the score? The guy has always worked several jobs.
