Just to squash this right now...Why would a stalker of Sarah's go to her mother's house and shoot her?

Not very likely

Maybe an armed robbery? Nice neighborhood, nice house, if you knew who lived there, you'd know they have money.

To speculate, this sounds like it might be an accident involving a gun, one reason I will never have a gun in my house. Sorry Darko and Jimmy R.

You're missing the point, like when people ask you to go away. It is useless to speculate, unless you're an ignored housewife chatting with the others.

An easy target for a robbery, but who the hell knows at this point. Sad story but stuff like this happens all the time, just so happens that it's news because she is a C list celebrity.

Boy this sure doesn't sound like something a potential stalker would post

Theyve said its a homicide.

Spanky the reports are sketchy. The Baltimore sun (came up first on the google search?) says the police havent revealed where the shooting occured.

Well by now wouldnt the story be " died in an accidental shooting" instead of a murder investigation?

Couple things,
I think any death no not natural means is called homicide until an inquest rules a suicide.
It's strange to be accidently shot at 7am. Accidental shootings are usually someone cleaning a gun, a rare activity for 7am, or mistaken identity.
Or intentional.
That is all.

So only husbands or family members murder in the a.m.? Maybe there murderer had a apointment to kill someone at 8:30. Or is that too late for family related homicides. My head hurts.

I like where that's going; now we just need a piece of black fabric and red fur at the scene and we've got ourselves an actionable theory.

I will admit I added to the sensitivity in this thread. I guess speculation is a big part of the "bored." It just seems to me this is a tragic situation, regardless of the official cause. I would like to have facts before people are guessing or judging.

oh it's tragic...don't get me wrong. i thought about my ex-wife who is a teacher in a nearby district. i thought about my mother who is a teacher out near where Darko lives. it's horrible...

however, i doubt it would have even been posted here if was Mrs. Smith in Winnetka.

It would have been a small blurb with no posts, agreed. Unless Whistler added something. I'm not positive (get that) the family would't read the board in the future about their mom's death. I think most of us here are better than cheap, unfunny jokes in this situation.

This is just terrible. What the hell was going on to make a guy do this? They seemed like the "ideal" suburban family. I always tell my wife, when people close thier doors at night, who knows what goes on?

If they arrested somebody, then you the line of questioning was much better than those asked by Sarah after Blackhawks games.
