I think the Bears will win this game handily, so they will probably lose.

The Giants (mighty or glorious?) aren't very good and look like they are imploding. On the other hand I don't think the Bears are very good so who knows. Giants are turning the ball over quite a bit and I'm hoping Diehl or whoever can't stop Peppers.

I am a little worried about a letdown after a big Monday night win vs. the Packers.

Giants are not as bad as they have played.

Bears luck runs out, Eli has a big night.

The Bears get two coaches fired in consecutive weeks after blowouts of the Giants and Panthers

Bears 31
Giants 17

This game plays right into the Bears hands. The Giants will spend half the night trying to establish the run. It will not work as the Bears have been superior at shutting down that end. When they begin to throw, the Giant OL has played worse than the Packers this year. Anderson will pull his best imitation of Brown and get his only three sacks this year against the Giants. The Bear offense will rush for 100 yards for the first time this year.

The Bears running game finally takes baby steps hitting the 100yd mark while the Giants running game is non-existent.

This game causes me concern for the simple reason the Giants can't possibly lose three straight games unless they really are a shitsack team. Coughlin may be able to instill some discipline in his team for this game, but I don't know if it is too late.

I believe the Bears are good enough to beat them and hopefully will begin to establish the run with Forte and Taylor, giving the D some much needed rest.

I don't believe in Bradshaw, Jacobs or Manning and I read Manningham is concussed and therefore may not play.

Bears should win based on the fact they are a good team, but the "wounded animal" situation in NY gives me pause.

Bears 24
Giants 23

Robbie Gould goes nuts with 4 FG's. Bears Red Zone offense lets them down once again.

Well, I'll bite. This has trap game written all over it. We are in the prime of NFL parity this season. Giants are at home. Bears short week. Both come closer to .500, a common theme I think for this NFL season. Weird game. Bears offense scores more touchdowns and racks up more yards, but lose to NY's four field goals and one tuddy.

Giants 19
Bears 17

I think the Bears already had a letdown while playing the Packers or they didn't play well enough that there's much to letdown from.

What kind of New Yorkers cheer for the Jets and Mets? Are there radio hosts who say they are a fan of both teams, like in Chicago, or are loyalties strongly divided?

One thing to consider about this reeling Giants team. This is very similar to how they were doing a couple years ago. I wouldn't count out Tom Coughlin just yet. In 2007, the N.Y. Giants were 4-9 in their last 13 games going into week 3 of the 07 season. They went on to go 14-4 to end their 07 season. Will it happen again? Doubtful.

Usually very scary people from Queens. The kind of people who you think will murder you on the subway. Often, if these people are lucky genetically, their knuckles can be as much as six (6) inches above the ground when they walk. They wear foul smelling white undershirts, and live in two room homes on Bayside Avenue. If they have a basement, there is a strong likelihood that there are bodies buried there.

They are generally piteous creatures, and not worthy of much thought at all.

I can't speak for everyone, but I have never met a Mets fan who didn't get all red in the face when talking about The Glorious Ones!

I think they might be done with Coughlin. His style would grind on a team after a while and I think they are reaching that point.

People said that exact thing in 2007. He was one of the top hot seat candidates. I don't necessarily disagree with you, but would not be shocked if Coughlin did it again.

See this is troubling.

It seems like you are putting the Giants on the same level as the GLORIOUS Ones

That is not right.

I am hardly equating the two. Let me put it a different way: Hercules is legendary. Jupiter is glorious.

The Glorious World Champion New York Yankees = Jupiter
The Legendary New York Football Giants = Hercules

This guy! Except, not really with the Mets and barely with the Jets. I've been told it's pretty regional. Long Island has more Jets fans because they used to hold training camp here and the Mets are easier to get to.

I don't listen that often to NY radio hosts but most seem to be fans of whatever team really sucks so they can yell and complain about them. They all hate A-Rod and love Jeter. Most of it is completely unlistenable.

This is an interesting matchup, because I believe that head coach Tom Coughlin is thisclose to losing control of his New York Giants' team with the lack of discipline and regression of QB Eli Manning to a point where I feel he's Rex Grossman with a Super Bowl ring. While I don't believe the Bears are better than their 3-0 record may indicate, I believe they are the better team in this spot. I think Jay Cutler throws 2 more TDs, Eli gets picked off twice & with Kristin Cavallari watching the action from a luxury box, the Bears stay unbeaten with a 23-10 road win in the New Meadowlands Stadium. Folks, the Cutler/Cavallari story isn't going away, and I predict she'll show up to watch Cutler first hand...

As you acknowledge, the Bears are undefeated. How could they be better than their perfect record indicates?
