It's either Doug and OB or Fred and Mongo. At least Doug and OB make me laugh.

if thats what you desire ,to laugh at 2 old timers and their BEAR PASSION !! i would rather have HUB on the SCORE after a game ,now that he's not on the bear payroll. at least he will disect the draft short comings and give you insight on the nfl. better than the 2 old blowhards yelling and screaming ,like it makes a damn difference when they raise their voices and scream

I agree Hub is good and knows his shit but I like the fire and the passion. They should incorporate Hub into the show. His insight would certainly be better than the great LOHO.

How can you not enjoy listening to people call in to talk about how when they played they showed the passion?

Hub would be okay by me, but he has to have someone with him that will rein in his smarminess.

It's either funny and brain-dead, or just brain-dead. Again, between the two, I'll take the funny.

Hub would be a good for Baseball Post. I hate allowing the really stupid to have a voice, unless they are entertaining or funny. For me personally, Football is different. Win or Lose, Doug and OB is a great listen. Tonight's Bears game might have been the worst professional game I've seen in years. But Doug and OB we're still entertaining.

Exactly. I don't need a breakdown during postgame. I have all week for that. After bad games, I want to be entertained.

BUMP

Only Doug and OB could be upset with the offensive line on the Matt Forte touchdown.

Were they honestly? That hole was gigantic... I'd say over 50% of third string RBs would be able to score sticking it up that hole.

Had raised voices when saying Webb and Williams blocked nobody. It was because there was no one to block!!!

And then talking aboot the high scoring offenses the Bears face coming up, including the Eagles, Packers, and JETS.

I wasn't aware the Jets were an offensive juggernaut.

i've had the postgame show on in one headphone as i perambulate throughout the endless night, and the one thing that stood out to me was the mention that cutler still had a 63 rating tonight.

it wasn't a beautiful game, however, it got the job done. i'm pretty damn sure they mentioned this is how the bears won in 2006 (special teams / defense combined with a "don't fuck this up please" offense... even tho robbie gould notwithstanding the special teams weren't exactly kicking my ass with perpetual advantage tongiht)

basically, the bears caught a middling-at-best offense on their third string quarterback and ne'er as i could tell they seemed to forget about ronnie brown and ricky williams, which might end up being a testament to the bears D more than it is an indictment of their o-coordinator, but like, once the decision was made that this game hinged on the passing prowess of one tyler thigpen the game was pretty much over. jake long must have been having the issues rozner spoke of today with julius pepper exploding onto the stat sheet with two sacks.... i think the bears had something like 5 or maybe 6 stats?

cutler still managed to get sacked three times... altho one of them was a shoestring prayer when he was about to roll out and make something positive happen... it wasn't the bumrush that we experienced in the giants game.

all in all, i think we're finding out that overall the bears are an above-average team with the ability to hang around and who knows? that said, i still worry about an imminent pasting at the hands of the mighty mighty eagle next week.
