From what I am hearing, the Boynton thing was part of it, but it sounds like little Jen Jen was a bit of a pain in the ass to work with and wore out her welcome. I aint sayin, I am just sayin.

If you have no talent and haven't really made it, maybe you're not seen with athletes if you're an "alleged" sports reporter. Maybe, as Rodeo's people are telling him, you're not a "pain in the ass" to work with if you're kind of a nobody at Comcast Sports Net. I wonder where she got that from? (Cue "Ain't that a kick in the head".) I've never seen her do anything on camera for Comcast by the way.

Now, if she ends up marrying this Blackhawk the media endeavor will have been worth it cuz it lead to her getting an athlete husband. Her getting fired won't matter. She will have won that risk/reward scenerio. I don't see that happening. You gotta think she's just one of many and many more to come for this Hawks player.

Is Boynton a big money player? I know nothing about him. Is he a million a year player or like a 4-5 million a year player?

If she is a gold digger and I dont know if she is, I am going to assume that Boynton is a stepping stone to someone else. Pure speculation on that, but my guy at comcast has told me for awhile she is or was a pain in the ass.

I suppose Pappy will have a blog about this in the near future, but when it comes down to it, if she aint dealing plates at gibsons, she never sniffs a media job. She had more chances then most get and she failed, time to rethink the career path.

I'm not saying she's a gold digger. I'm just saying if working it sports leads to her marrying an athlete she won the risk of dating one in her position. She wasn't going to be a big time sportscaster anyway. Most talented people her age have on air roles by now. If it doesn't happen by 30 for a women in TV, it's never gonna happen.

I guess her fans can post condolences on her facebook. One guy started it. I don't know how anybody can miss her when she was never seen but this guy said she "rocked". One thing hasn't changed about Jen, she still loves posing like a model.

This has always bothered me for some reason. She never seemed to improve or want to improve any of it. She was like a little girl playing house or office. I rooted for her at first.

A little down on her post page, Jen posted a slide show of her model shoot with music. Is this common? Are there others who aren't models who do photo shoots posing as models for no reason what so ever? I'm sure Jen's not the only one, I just find it a little vain.

Thing is, she's really not hawt nor young enough to snare some million dollar athlete ( for marriage sake anyway) .
Ms. Kustok stands a far better chance for that happening were she to choose to go that route.

Paula Faris could have gone that route had she chosen. She ended up just marrying a regular guy. I heard her say he's in real estate I think. As I've said before, Paula is actually a very good broadcaster. Yeah, she uses the bubbly girly persona but that's part of being in TV. Look at the guy she works with - Darryl Hawke. He's a god damn stiff and comes off bad on TV. Giangreco uses that "smart ass" shtick. Everybody needs a little hook to get a following. Helps a lot that Paula is pretty, don't get me wrong, but she's not a bimbo and is a good broadcaster. All of her sportscasts are very smooth. Same with her live reports on remote. She's a solid pro. Can't say that about Jim Rose or Mike Adamle.

Thing about making it on TV in Chicago is you don't just start here. At least not on the major network affiliates (2,5,7,12,9). You have to work in smaller markets to get to the top 10 markets. The smaller markets are your audition for the big time. I know Jen had that role on Comcast with North but it was cable, low rent and it was only cuz of North.

1. She is not hot. I can see how some might find her cute, but she is not hot.

2. I don't think this is about her looks, this is about her sticking with North under the "We (Mike and I) are such a great team, everyone will want to hire us" theory. Flat out, she is just not talented and did get jobs because I do think she works hard, but that alone doesnt make her someone people want to listen to.

3. This is now everyone gloating about beign correct. Then again thats like predicting the KC Royals to not win a World Series.

Hey, at least Jen can say she didn't last a year somewhere without North's help.

Here's the photographer commenting on Jen's photo shoot. He said she was great to work with. I would hope so. It would really be amazing if Jen were a bitch during the shoot without being a model and not having any real reason to do a photo shoot.

True. I'm sure she'd love to marry into money. She wants to be high society. I don't know, can't really blame her for wanting that. Christ, I want to marry a super model.

I don't think Jen ever really knew or liked sports. I think she's just one of those that wants to be famous and get all the perks that comes with fame. She met North so the sports biz is where she went. I think she liked the thrill of meeting and flirting with athletes in clubhouses. I think she loved meeting famous people and getting pictures with them. She likes getting dressed up and going to sports media dinners and partys. And I think she absolutly loves the fact that she's dating a Hawk and gets to run around in that world.

Did she actually like sports or sports broadcasting? I really don't think so. That was just a necessary evil to get the other things I mentioned.

Julie Swieca once harbored illusions of marrying a big strong athlete. Then she realized that most of them are assholes.

Mac and Meat said there are a couple clubhouses in town that told her she's not welcome. With all the shadey shit that goes on in there what the hell did she do to get banned??

Maybe its as simple as "She's not even in the ballpark of being hot enough for a proffessional athletes."
