Pallets as firewood sucks.
you get tons of nails in your pit, and it burns too hot and quick.
I'll have a trunk full of some pine I cut down this spring. If you get that fire hot, maybe these will burn ok. I hadn't planned on burning it until next year but the logs are only 3 inches in diameter so they might work.
