Hopefully this is my last post about this crappy show. I tuned in this morning at about 10:45 CST, the guest on was Petros Papadadis, the afternoon host. I always feel bad for the weekend guys having the week guys on the air as guests, it's like the guy is saying I suck. For whatever it is worth, the entire segment was Pappy talking about Pappy. Just horrible, North was talking about him taking Bill Wirtz to task...North was talking about his career on the radio 10 years ago taking a dead guy to task. It was like a bad high school reunion where a guy was talking about the good old days.

That was live.

Later in the night I was all bombed up grilling out. I podcasted the first hour of the North show. Here were a few quotes

"I'm undefeated"
"I'm the best handicapper in america"
and here was my favorite, and this is a quote:
"I fell in love with Vegas when my dad took me to Reno"

just unreal.

Also he compared his dad, an electrician, to NFL players.

If I drink enough tomorrow night I'm calling in the show and asking about DFM.com

He tried to call her a "bumbling mumbling idiot"

but when he said it, he said "bumbling brummmuloing idoiot"

I wish I could explain it better but he tried to call this chick a "mumbling" idiot, and when he was saying mumble, he choked on it and mumbled his way thorough it.

Fuck, chuck esposito back on, I can't drink enough to deal with this, I'm done with this.

My favorite new aspect of the show is that, now that it is sponsored by the City of Rosemont, the show originates from Rosemont....

....it's like Las Vegas without the casinos...it's a gated community....it's one of the most famous cities in the world...
