He and Cutler have such chemistry... maybe we can overpay him to be our number 1 WR next year!

7 offensive points. Inexcusable. Pathetic. Pantherish.

My bad, I am officially off the Cutler bandwagon.

That was an epic bad performance in the second half, that last interception, WTF?

Maybe use Bennett and Devin A at wide reciever more. Hester and especially Knox need to get more physical.

How many fumbles did the Redskins have, 5? and how many did the Bears recover, 1?

Under the Prediction Business thread. I'm up 1000 jolly ranchers!

This is a tough one,but I think the Redskins will display the same gameplan as the Seahawks did. This time,I smell turnovers on both sides. I still think the
Redskins pull away somewhere in the 3rd quarter.

Final: REDSKINS 27 Bears 17.

it was an early 10-14 lead, but otherwise i was spot-on. this team is getting predictable. start out decent and just die like old retired farts waching the sunset.

As I wrote right after the Bears wasted $40 million guaranteed on Peppers...he is a huge waste of money on this team. This team needs help everywhere so signing a major free agent to a big dollar contract is just stupid.
Peppers has a whopping 9 tackles, 4 assisted tackles, & 2 sacks in 7 games...7 GAMES! He hasn't showed up in 2 weeks.
Lets hope these fuckers lose every game & everyone gets fired.

I wasnt able to watch the game.

I snuck in a few minutes in the second half.

Aikman: I cant believe they dont take a shot downfield and challenge DeAngelo Hall.

(RPB inner monologue: Is Hall that bad now? Must be having a bad day)

Next play: and Hall with his fourth interception

wTF?

Context is a wonderful thing.

He correctly observed that Hall was jumping on inside routes. Thats what the Bears were throwing a lot of, partly because the Oline was so bad. However, they did protect Cutler pretty well in the 2nd half. If a go route or a double move was called and executed correctly (both by the Oline, TE and/or RB blocking, Hester running a good route, and Cutler throwing a good ball), it likely would have worked.

I did hear him say at one point in the game: "I got head in the hit", so you might be on to something.

Thanks, I like Aikman and figured there was an explanation.

Maybe with the ADD society of flipping channells Aikman should have said, "Even though he's picked off Cutler 3 times..."

iirc, Aikman said that fairly early in the 2nd half, before the last 2 or 3 INTs.

I predicted the Bears would finish 6-10 this season. Looking at the Bears remaining 9 games, I see 1 more win for the Bears, thus finishing at 5-11.

9 Sun, Nov. 7 at Buffalo Bills (Toronto) LOSS
10 Sun, Nov. 14 vs. Minnesota Vikings LOSS
11 Thu, Nov. 18 at Miami Dolphins LOSS
12 Sun, Nov. 28 vs. Philadelphia Eagles LOSS
13 Sun, Dec. 5 at Detroit Lions WIN
14 Sun, Dec. 12 vs. New England Patriots LOSS
15 Mon, Dec. 20 at Minnesota Vikings LOSS
16 Sun, Dec. 26 vs. New York Jets LOSS
17 Sun, Jan. 2 at Green Bay Packers LOSS

While he is not producing the sacks I'd like...I'm better with this signing than I was at the start of the season. He's better than I thought he'd be. To me the real problem has been there is nobody else on the line that is stepping up.

So you mean because of the incredible games he had against GB and Carolina, opposing offenses are trying to stop him?

That means that other guys on that line need to step up. So far, the only one that is even trying is Idonije. Kirk, you are still an idiot. Peppers makes that defense a lot better. Dozens of things he does every game will not show up on the stat sheet.

But Peppers stats thus far are well below his career averages. He has been worse than expected.

Frank, you gotta watch the game. Peppers was dominated in the Seattle game by a rookie. The $40 million that the Bears wasted on Peppers would have been better spent on OL & WR's.
