Clemson -10 over Kentucky

Kentucky D is brutal, 118th in the nation. Clemson D in top 20 and with the O Clemson has, as long as Clemson comes to play they should win big.

Oregon St -3.5 over Mizzou

I got burned goin against the Pac 10 with a Big 12 team last nite and Im not gonna do it again. Oregon St scored 30+pts in 5 of their last 6. Mizzou struggled losin 3 of their last 4. Lookin for Orst to be the quicker team. I see OrSt by 10+.

I think I got my bowl gift of the year last night with that Cal over. Now 8-3-1 in the bowls. Some possible black holes to step in today. I'm treading lightly...

Missouri +3-1/2 vs. Oregon State
OSU hasn't shown me much in its ability to stop a spread offense and they will need to do that today. Missouri also has a 27 lb. average advantage in their offensive line vs. OSU's defensive front and I expect Missouri to be able to run pretty well here. Mizzou did lose a few late, but two of those were to OU and Nebraska...far superior teams to OSU. All those late losses did was give us value here.

Texas Tech -7 vs. Minnesota
I don't like TT's defense, but I don't like much at all about Minnesota. I DO like Tech's offense and their ability to score points on this Minny pass defense.

Clemson -11 v. Kentucky

Clemson should roll out the barell on the Wildcat. Clemson has been terrible of late and KY has come on stong, but cmon....kys 118th ranked defense is the difference, Id look for a Clemson D or special teams score as well. Clemson should be able to dictate their will on KY with the run game as well.

S Car -5 v. Houston- cocks 3 losses are against ranked opponents. Houston has shown an ability to keep it close, but again it comes down to talent (SC mentally is not all there, but they have the horses). Hou has Kolb, Cocks have the 5th best pass D.

Minn/ Tex Tech over 64- two defense that do not like to stop anyone, since tech has gone to -7' on the greek, id play the over.

One of those things that make you go hmmm. Up big, less than 1 minute left, coach telling the backup QB to take a knee and...

Over 56 Hou/SCar

Spurrier with time to prepare should have his offense ready and Houston has been able to score pts all year. Should see plenty of points in this one.

The season of giving....I got my second gift today when Oregon State decides to go for two with 25 seconds left to win or lose the game right there...instead of kicking the PAT and taking the game to OT...where I could have lost with my +3.5. Had I been laying the wood with Oregon State (my condolences Bud and anyone else who had them) I might have thrown something....well, a tantrum anyway. We can analyze all we want, but sometimes it just requires being on the right side of blind luck.

Nice call on Mizzou Coast

greek

Maryland +1 over Purdue

Neither D is decent but I think the senoir QB for Maryland will make the plays when needed. Purdue QB threw for alot of yds and TD's but also 18 picks. Maryland wins a close one.

Over 62.5 TT/Min

Cant see anything else but points in this one. Texas Tech should reach the 40's so Minny only needs about 20 to get the over.

Good D? Ouch babe

Texas Tech -7 against Minnesota

Minnesota sucks. They belong nowhere near a bowl. Texas Tech is going to pound them. I would take this one hard.

I stayed away

Navy +7 vs Boston College- There is a lot of talk Navy may win this one, I don't see it happening with their ground game, but should keep it about a field goal game.

The next 2 are fan picks

Iowa +8.5 vs Texas- This game sounds like it could be a blowout if Texas comes to play, but with Ferentz having a month to get his team ready look out.

Georgia +2.5 vs Virginia Tech- My point for this game is if Georgia can score, because I think the Dawgs can contain Va. Tech's offense. If Georgia wants to win, they will need to make Va. Tech drive a long field, no possesions around the 50.

I'm hitting at 55% in bowl games and went 4-2 yesterday and you focus on my big screwup. Some friend you are. I was praying they had the ball first in overtime because there was no way they were going to be stopped. I was able to enjoy it for it's entertainment value as I did not have a "rooting interest" either.

If you want real locks, follow Nas. He is the man on fire.

BC- Navy Under 47'

BCs excellent D versus the number one rushing O, Ill bet on punting, tackling and a running clock here and go with the under. Also the soph walk on kicker might be good for a missed FG here and there for BC

Texas- Iowa over 53'- tex has a great run D but bad pass D, Iowa better keep it in the air, TEx has 6th ranked scoring O. Ill think they will put on a scoring demo for the home fans. Iowa is good for a turnover now and then as well, preferably to set up Texas O.

Va TEch -3 over GA- Tech outscores opponents pretty handily (coming off 6 wins in a row (incuding Clemson, Miami and Wake). Tech #1 D in the land as well. AS long as Glennon plays a Trent Dilfer game and doesnt lose the game for Techs D, all should be well for the Hokie.

Under 47.5 Navy/BC

Navy ran the ball well again this year but look at their schedule and they played one of the easier schedules in the country. BC should be able to keep the Navy O in check. With BC coach not there not sure what to expect so I will go with the BC O being off enough to keep this one under.

Navy +8 vs. BC
BC SHOULD win this game based on the merits and the matchups, but I wonder if they also might fall into the category of a "disinterested favorite". Interim coach and all that...we shall see.

Texas -9 vs. Iowa
I have had this one circled all along and kept wondering what the heck I was missing. If you look at how Iowa has played against top tier opponents...well, they were whacked. They had trouble with teams that could run and throw. Yes they are getting a few guys back, but this Iowa defense hasn't looked very good all year. WIth McCoy back in the saddle at QB for UT, you can forget about the late season UT losses. IMO UT has an advantage in both lines, on defense and at the skill positions.

Texas -9.5 over Iowa

Texas has the better talent only question is will they be in to this game. I think laying less than 10 is good value. Iowa covered one game all year. I see Texas pulling away late.

Virg Tech -3 over Georgia

Should be a defensive game with special teams a key and Beamer teams always seem to make a big play or two in the kicking game. VT was the better team the 2nd half of the year and I see that continuing tonite. VT gets a 7-10 pt win.

I agree Nas. Iowa played their ass off but in the end, snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. For those of you who took iowa at the window, you got paid.

Canes -3.5 vs Nevada- Nevada is coming off a bad game against Boise State and the Canes will want to show they came to play in front of their old coach and new coach.

Michigan/USC under 46-1/2
Two very solid defenses here, with UM probably the best. UM has been tough on immobile QB's this year, and will be in Booty's grill all day.

Nebraska +1.5 vs Auburn- I just don't trust Auburn's quarterback and I think Nebraska wants to rebound from a bad Big 12 championship game.

Penn State +3.5 vs Tennsesee- I like Pateron and Penn State's defense to shut down the Tennesee offense and for the Nittany Lions to score just enough points.

Wisconsin +2.5 vs Arkansas- Arkansas has lost 2 in a row and Wisconsin hasn't been talked about much this year.

West Virginia -9.5 vs Georgia Tech- The safe bet is probably West Virginia straight up, but without Ball it could help WVU win easily, but for the Mountaineers bring a defense and it will be a walk.

Michigan -1 vs USC- USC still coming off a bad loss and Michigan may think they still have a shot at the natinal title.

Boise State +7 vs Oklahoma- Boise State will come in with the crowd and I think Oklahoma may overlook the Broncos.

Nebraska vs Auburn -1.5
This Auburn team is 10-2 with two losses to a tough Georgia and Arkansas teams - they also beat Florida earlier this year. Nebraska has been good this year but their signature wins came against A&M and Mizzou both who lost bowl games.

Fiesta Bowl
Boise State vs OU -7
This isn't Utah vs. Pitt. OU won a good conference, winng 8 in a row - the last 7 without the best running back in the country.

Happy Freaking New Year

Already on Nebraska-Auburn OVER 45

Tennessee-Penn State UNDER 41
Let's get the New Years morning started with a glass of ORANGE juice, some BLUEberry pancakes and eggs 00 UNDER easy.

Georgia Tech-West Virginia UNDER 47
Tech offense will likely struggle with new QB and Tech offense might match WVU surprisingly well. Strong lean to Eers but don't want to lay the wood.

Michigan -1 vs. USC
My eyes see UM as the 2nd best team in America.

and if as the Michigan game ends, I'm having a winning day, I'm going to take the day's winnings and buy some more on Oklahoma.

...and if you want a hoops play, Alabama -8 looks very good.

Nebraska- Auburn under 47

tenn -4 v. Penn St- Penn State is a good team, but the Tenn air attack makes the difference here

Michgan -1 v. USC- Michgan runs over the Trojan.....so sorry tommy.

Oklahoma -7 v. Boise- Sorry Boise, this is one defense you have not seen this year or in the past. Gonna be a long night for Boise State

Arkansas- Wisco under 46 - look to alot of long drives capped off by field goal attempts in this one.

Happy New Year!! My bowl picks suck. Go against me and win!!!

greek

Penn St +4 over Tenn

I just like Paterno over Fullmer with a month to prepare. Penn St D played excellent this year against Mich and Oh St so I think they will contain Tenn O. Only question for me is whether Penn St O can do enough.

Under 47 Aub/Neb

Oklahoma controlled this Nebraska O in the Big 12 Title game and I think Auburn D will have similiar success. Auburn O nothin great so I see this one as a 20-17 type game.

I need the plays to reach 50. It's going to be an ugly record, but here goes!

Auburn -2, and I'll take the under unlike my good friend Coast - UNDER 47

Arkansas -2 1/2, and the under 46

Georgia Tech +10, over 47

USC +1 1/2, everyone discounting them today, not me.

Home -7, over 50
