I normally try to ignore most negative talk, because everyone is allowed their opinion. I certainly join in at times too, when it comes to Murph, psychopaths, etc. I really don't get the Laurence Holmes hate. He isn't perfect. But who are we kidding, we aren't either. What is it that bothers some of you so much?

I don't like the whole tough guy front. When he calls in to Dahl's podcast he's actually pretty good, and comes off knowledgable and funny. On the Score he just seems to be desperately overcompensating for something.

I don't hate Lawrence. I just think he's incredibly average. Sometimes he's funny, most times not. If I catch his show at night I don't mind. I don't want him on during the day because he usually adds nothing to the show he's co-hosting.

The way he played up that whole "Lovie Snapped At Me/I Don't Know Why Lovie Hates Me" thing was amaturish and embarassing.

Larry is a person with zero self realization. He also desperately seeks the approval of others. He is a ball of neurosis. Sometimes this makes for a great radio personality. It does not with him.

I pity him as a human. It really sucks to not know or be uncomfortable with who you are. It is even worse at the age of 35.

Most of his coworkers seem to like him so I don't think he is a dick. In his situation I think it's kind of admirable so I don't feel pity. It'd be great if he was more socially aware and not so worried about impressing others. I kind of hope for him and then when he fails I shake my head and hope for next time. Maybe he'll get it someday, maybe not.

Somebody trying to be liked isn't going to be a prick. Plus I think after the way some treat him he'd at least think about it. I wonder, if the cool kids were to make fun of somebody if he'd join in, remain silent, or stand up for that person.

Larry regards Bernstein as that "cool person" and joins in with him bashing white people who tailgate, like the '85 Bears and wear jerseys.

Don't kid yourself. Larry has done those things and enjoyed it. He'll never admit it, and only denounces it now cuz Bernstein said it was wrong.

bernstein is a strange guy. I can remember him being perplexed at the concept of putting your money in front of you on the bar. I plan on getting shitty tonight and I don't want to keep going in my pocket.

He does it to try and be funny or one of the group. I don't think he is out right mean like BernsteinYou and Laurence are similiar in some ways. You're smarter, and some of your crackpot thoughts can be right on though.
