Apparently Sean knew before the game that JaMarcus Russell was far and away better than Quinn. While the statement alone isn't shocking, I'm just wondering did any one of us ever here him say anything about JaMarcus Russell in one of his 17 media outlets we see, hear, or read from him on? I'm going with no.

Did any one of us watch or listen to him in one of his 17 media outlets we he talks and writes on?

Sean is the king of what I call Phantom Picks (though I haven't invented the term I'm sure). It's when something great happens, they say "I called that. I've been saying it from the beginning." And there's no evidence whatsoever. I haven't heard anyone talk about JaMarcus Russell *all year*. And I'll say this, he's so overrated right now it's sickening. Look at LSU's schedule. All of his turnovers pretty much occurred during the most important games. That's not exactly top 10 draft pick material. He's got a lot of potential, but they're acting like he's the next Vince Young because he's big. And he's got a gun. But he's more like Culpepper than he is Vince Young.

Sean does this sort of thing all the time. "Well, Team X is certainly surprising. We didn't see this coming!" Sean: "Oh I did. You doggone right ana ana I'll tell you what, that quarterback back there for Team X? Alls he's gotta do is sit there and throw the football, ana ana they can win the ball game. Ana ana who said this team can't go all the way? I didn't." and so on...

Couldn't agree with you more Zach. I know he does this. I just wanted to see if it was just me. It wasn't as I figured.

By the way the ana ana ana posts never get old. Classic.

Oh it's true. Sean and many others said Romo was a hall of famer after his first 5 games. Many of these guys all said it was a mistake to bench Bledsoe when it happened. Then when Romo struggled they all say "well he's a rookie" I knew this would happen. They all are wind socks and liars.

You know what's funny. I try to project what guys will do in college as do many of you. I get some wrong of course. But I'll bet my percentage is better or equal to alot of these expert athlete commenatators. The fact that they played the game gives them no advantage over me or any of you in scouting and projecting. That's just been proven to be a fact.

Hah glad to be of service. No I think more than just the two of us are onto this windbag; but we all still listen for some reason! (except MUScholar).

You guys will be better off when you find Colin Cowherd - he's interesting, has well thought-out points, and pretty damn funny. Basically, he's everything the Salisbury and Rosenbloom aren't.

Unfortunately we're not allowed to stream stuff at work so I can't listen to "The Herd". I have heard him a few times when there was no 9-12 show. I liked that he spreads it around as far as topics, and yeah he was pretty thoughtful--but I wanted to know something. He seemed very egotistical about his body shape. Is he just kidding around? He always seemed to mention how good of a shape he was in, and it just kind of turned me off a bit. He just seemed vain about it. Again, I only heard him a few times so maybe I misinterpreted him.

Same with me Zach. My problem is I like Rosenbloom (I know that's not popular either) so it has kinda sucked me into listening somewhat.

You going to the MJH remote?

No, he's definitely screwing around.

That's the truth! Does anyone else find it amusing that every time John Madden's name is brought up, Sean goes out of his way to kiss his ass, and he just happens to have the same broadcast style? Maybe Seanycakes idolized Madden to the point that he's picked up Maddenisms. I'd like to hear a Madden-Salisbury broadcast team in the near future; it'd be irritating as all hell, but amusing in the even the game was no good:

Salisbury: And another touchdown for the Bears makes it 42-10 Bears, and it looks like this game is out of hand.
Madden: Yeah, ana ana, you know that Brett Farve, you know, you know, has to be disappointed.
Salisbury: Yeah, you're doggone right a guy like Farve is upset, ana ana
*crosstalk of both men saying "ana" repeatedly ensues for a 5-minute period*
Madden: Boom!
