Kind of cool to see Soundgarden play at the end, although I wasn't all that
impressed with the song. Did inspire me to bring Temple of the Dog to work
though. So far the show seems like he has invited all his friends to show up,
like he couldn't get anyone else. People who have movies that don't come out
for 8 months like Hanks or even 3 months like Rogen just seems odd.

Wouldn't you want to bring in somebody huge even if they didn't have something to promote? I would rather see Tom Hanks than some schmuck who is plugging Skyline. And I agree with Soundgarden sucking. Cornell just needs to go away and never come back.

Yeah, I can see what you are saying. Getting big name guests rather than timely
ones the first week or two could be beneficial. They just seem out of place. Oh
well, no matter. Fun to see Tom Hanks do some physical comedy when he comes
on. Seems like he does it every time he is with Conan. Getting soaked with water
isn't exactly physical comedy but you know what I am getting at.

Pretty decent show last night as he had Harrison Ford and Rosario
Dawson on. I couldn't figure out if Ford was doing a bit or if he really
is as strange as he was acting during the interview. Overall one of
the better shows so far. Monologue was halfway decent as well.

Rosario Dawson is quite a thing. Wow. She looked amazing last night.

Come 10p tonight, Conan's got the very unfunny Russell Brand & musician Kid Rock performing live. Russell recently married Katy Perry, and is so annoying!

The Harrison Ford interview was pretty funny. Whatever he was on I would like to get my hands on some. Seems like he was flying pretty high. But he is always pretty weird in interviews

SHARK, while I had seen Brand do a few things on MTV and also saw Get Him To The
Greek recently, I too found him to be a bit annoying. I think he managed to change
my mind last night though. Although he is very high energy, maybe even a bit hyper,
I found this guy to be funny, gracious, and actually pretty damn charming. I admit
I would likely have grown tired of him after another 10 minutes or so but while he was
on, he was quite entertaining.

I'm glad someone else saw that ..... that was some bad TV, bordering on creepy. I was waiting for Ford to draw blood as he pawed and clawed at himself whilst staring 100 miles away.

And indeed a large boy-yoi-yoi-yoing for Rosario Dawson. She's no Aisha Tyler, but in a pinch she'll do.

Now that there is a Gary Busey mult, I invite him to post here. The Conan
blimp stuff with Busey has been pretty funny the last few nights. For those
who aren't watching, the blimp has been following Busey around L.A. and
he is acting all nuts trying to get away from it.

Strange interview, indeed. Bad.

Rosario Dawson runs circles around Aisha Taylor......naked....while singing in spanish.....in my dreams.

The Busey stalking stuff seems hilarious in comparison to the show around it:

http://www.thedailybeast.com/video/item ... gary-busey

Where's the insult dog and the other bits from his original show? This new show feels sterile. 6 months and conan's ratings will be below the Daily Show and Colbert, if he doesn't change things up.

The answer is..."Intelluctual Properties"... I think that was a big bone of contention between Conan and his former NBC bosses before he signed on at TBS. I think he wanted to bring "Triumph", that dog from his former "Late Night" show, with him...NBC said no.

Think of when David Letterman left NBC for CBS in 1994...There were certain bits Letterman wanted to bring with him to CBS, but his NBC bosses wouldn't let him...

Thanks SHARK... yes Conan is starting from scratch again so he is missing a few
elements. I can't believe that NBC took that shit from him.

Well, I'm watching. Last night's show was pretty good. Funny monologue
in which he wears something called "jeggings" which are leggings that look
like acid washed jeans. Actually had some good jokes before that and then
an interview with the Kardashian sisters ( all 3 ) actually took a turn for the
bizarre and was pretty interesting. It was like having 3 Paris Hilton's up there
at the same time. Overall it was a pretty good episode. Kevin Nealon came out
later and mopped up with some pretty decent one liners as well.

Has Norm Macdonald been on his new show yet? It seemed like he was a monthly guest when Conan had the Tonight Show and he is always great.

No Norm McDonald yet. He would be pretty good guest actually. This show seems to be
getting better, especially with the monologues. Still love Conan interacting with the crowd,
he is so good making jokes on the fly.

Last night Conan ventured over to the building on the studio lot in which they
do all the animation for comic book characters. Very funny bit in which he
brought up some questionable super heroes from the past and then they had
an artist come up with a Conan super hero. It was To Be Continued... so I
look forward to seeing what they do with this.

They did a funny bit a few nights ago that was a parody of WikiLeaks called RickyLeaks. It was Ricky Gervais revealing funny secrets about Conan's life. Good stuff.

I still haven't managed to remember to watch this show despite being curious about it. TBS is not on my radar.

It is on well past my bedtime but I tape it and check the next morning to see who was on.
If he has on a decent guest I'll usually check it out. If I don't have time I'll delete it.
His monologues and comedy bits are often very funny.

Norm wrecking Courtney Thorne-Smith's interview may have been the funniest moment on Conan, or at least tied with him kissing Rebeeca Romaijn.

I've watched almost every episode on dvr. I like it much better than any other option out there. It reminds me of when my parents used to tape Late Night with David Letterman and watch it the next day at dinner. He's clearly not like Letterman in his prime but he's closer than anyone now including Dave.

I highly recommend it and he seems to be getting really comfortable in the new role.

This. I have my DVR to save up the 5 most recent episodes and just constantly replace the oldest. Then I will check the guest list. If it is someone interesting I will give it a shot if nothing else is on. The TBS show is good so far though. Alot of energy. Really good to have Andy Richter involved again.

Great show last night. The interview with Seth Green had me laughing
pretty damn hard. When he brought out the robot toy that was humping
a washing machine that was pretty funny, but when he put a Conan doll
leaning over the washing machine it brought the house down. Very funny.

Just wanted to bump this instead of doing a shoutout for Conan. He has
been ripping it up this week and had me laughing out loud this morning from
last nights show. He visits a wax museum to see a statue of himself and also
playfully picks on a group of tourists from South Korea. Way to go Conan,
you really seem to be hitting your stride with this show.

Very good episode on last night with a cute chick Vanessa Hudgens and the
wrestler The Miz. I thought the interview with The Miz was pretty funny, I
don't watch wrestling but I remember him from The Real World show ( I think ).
Anyway if you can find it on You Tube and you like The Miz it is probably worth
your 10 minutes, had me laughing pretty good. Band was Grace Potter and The
Nocturnals. They were only ok but that Grace Potter is pretty hot and has a
nice pair of legs on her.
